Yes, and St Joe's is not JWU. JWU beat Suffolk by damn near 40 this year. Please Explain to me how JWU didn't play their best basketball on Tuesday? Did you even watch the game?

They out rebounded their season average for offensive boards a game. They came up with more steals than their per game average. They shot the ball overall from the field 3% lower than their average but conversely shot the 3 ball 9% above their season average. Caused more TO than Norwich averages a game. Just confused how you think they didn't play well. I'm thinking it might be a little bit of your rivalry against JWU that holds you back from seeing how well they played Tuesday is all I'm saying. If you truly "analyzed" stats and critiqued the game, you'd have no problem seeing how well they played. Good luck against them on Saturday because they're coming for your Falcons bud haha

Very exciting. Watched both games by live stream. Really glad we didn't have live stream when I was in school or I don't think i would have gotten any homework done.  Two good games with the one and two seeds moving on to the championship game. Should be a great game. Perhaps the GNAC would allow Lasell and Suffolk to play for third place like the old Final Four days. It's been a great season.

MR.KNOW NONE OF IT....Have the guts to admit you are a J & W fan.
I invite you to the championship, I`ll be right in the bleachers next to the Falcon bench.
We`ll see how your team does in New Haven... Good Luck!

Now for the important stuff- what a great game for the Falcons tonight!
J. Green-Younger really stepped up in the clutch w/32 pts., including
2 "dagger" 3`s late in the game!
The low post game was totally on tonight... Amir Maddred- 21 pts.& 14 rebounds and
J. Walters- 31 pts. & 16 boards.
They will be the difference against J & W.

Finally a little juice on this board Hahahaha d3hoopjunkie is always classy on this board. The, "we been dominating the gnac and this board" was a mic drop lolll this is one of the weaker albertus teams that we have been accustomed too, losing two key players throughout the year. However, here we are at home in another gnac final, Mitch Oliver has spoiled us. This is a basketball program that use to recruit me and my baseball teammates in 04/05 to try out for the team to fill the bench. That's a true story. What Oliver has done is absolutely remarkable. JWU May be coming for us, but hell its the gnac championship I expect nothing less. But this is premier program in the conference and you must know that given your screen name. Gonna take a lot more then a win Saturday to take that from us. Would love to hear your prediction. Another title for the Falcons is one game away, can't wait!

Some good news / bad news from Emmanuel.  The Saints have a new AD.  The old AD, who made 18, 19, 20, loss seasons just business as usual is gone.  The bad news, the new AD was not hired from the outside, but promoted from within the coaching ranks.  Not likely the new AD will start firing fellow coaches as the first order of business.  That would be too funny.

Mr.Know Most Of It

...But wait, no one explained to me how JWU played poorly on Tuesday night still haha. I'm most certainly not a JWU fan. Don't root for any team in this conference. Just saw a pattern here and wanted to call some people out. Not even living in the Northeast but boy you make it tempting to drive all the way up to "The Nest" and cheer my butt off for the Wildcats haha. But seriously, can someone explain to me why they thought JWU played poorly on Tuesday night? Stop making blind claims. Look at stats and do some critical thinking with out bias. Doesn't happen anymore now-a-days in any avenue of life. Everyone sticks to their guns and doubles down. In all seriousness though, Albertus has dominated this conference and should win Saturday. Good luck!

Jwu beats albertus, called this one a few weeks ago after the dismissal of English. Still a great yr for albertus, and still the class of the gnac. What a career for Walters, top 3 imo. Good luck to jwu in the tourney

Ferraro13

Jwu every right to be excited, but showing no class in their win, what a joke  Lol

Falcons 25

Congrats to The Wildcats. J. Lawson... try to act with just a little class!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Remember a few years back at Anna Maria when Albertus received a pair of technical fouls for taunting on their way to victory? How quickly people forget when it comes to "their" team. Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house fellas haha. Lets not get into rap sheets of players and their behavior please. Great game all around by both teams. Can't wait to see how JWU matches up against East Conn. They are going to have their hands full and it's gonna take the stars lining up for them to pull it off. Very entertaining year for the GNAC!

MKMOI,

Where do I begin......First off, I remember that Anna Maria game and 1 of the technicals was for hanging on the rim to long following a dunk which happens from time to time at all levels of college and pro basketball. That being said I am not condoning it but really a minor infraction. The other was for players from both teams jawing at each other after a made basket and the Albertus player got the final word in and as we all know, the last guy is always the one to get caught, so he received his T, again not condoning it but this too happens all the time. Your reference to this game has nothing to do with how poorly #3 Jarell Lawson and JWU represented themselves on Saturday. The circumstances and what transpired were completely different.

You ask me in a previous post, "did I even watch the game" and now I need to ask you if you even watched this game on Saturday? I know you weren't there in person and the camera feed "if" you watched the game didn't pick up what happened.

#3 literally had to be restrained by his own teammates and an assistant coach from going into the stands and into the crowd. And before you say "well the Albertus fans must have said some terrible things to cause him to do that" WRONG! His family members that were in the crowd had to be escorted out by security because they started a few altercations. Which obviously triggered his emotions and cause him to go on such a tangent. I am not giving any of the Albertus fans a pass either because I was sitting very close to where this all transpired and they too should have just shut their mouths and watched a great basketball game. But they didn't and things got out of hand. However, still throughout and following the game he openly taunted our bench and fans. I have NEVER seen anything quite like it. How a technical wasn't assessed is beyond me. Never has a single Albertus player nor any player from any team INCLUDING JWU for the past 10 GNAC tournament that I have seen, act and conduct themselves in the manner in which this player did that day. I completely get that emotions and ones competitive nature can cause you to do things your not used to doing, and obviously this young man was over the moon after playing so well during and then winning the game and moving on. The rivalry between these two school is as good as it gets. I honestly would put this matchup against any in the country in terms of pure dislike for each other.

We got beat straight up.......did we have our chances to win, absolutely. But we made a few mistakes with a couple bad turnovers towards the end of the game and JWU capitalized on them. That's what good teams do, and JWU is a good basketball team, I dont think anyone here regardless of their allegiance disputes that. Of course I thought the Falcons were going to win the game because I am a fan and still believed we were the better team but sometimes it doesn't always work out as hundreds of other schools around the country learned the harsh reality of this on Saturday as well.

A few of my fellow posters on this board just wanted to say that this kid needs to act and win with a bit more class because in the end, he had very little of it. There is no pot calling the kettle black here, not in this situation.

falcons2010

Congrats to JWU; a heck of a basketball game was played on Saturday. JWU made some big plays down the stretch. Green-younger is a tough player; not afraid to have ball in hands in crunch time. JQ, what a great career. He didn't have his best game, credit to JWU, but kept Albertus in the game. He was unable to get touches in last 4 minutes. JWU did a great job responding to Albertus 's run. Good luck to them during the NCAA tournament.
