Just think how underutilized Zylstra was in college. His younger brother is averaging 78 receiving yards a game for Mankato.Quote from: Tom Thumb on October 01, 2018, 12:55:07 PM
Here are a few highlights form the UST/Cobber game on Saturday: http://www.wday.com/sports/football/4506400-early-miscues-help-st-thomas-rout-concordia-46-7
I know the Cobbers would like to tell themselves they just dug themselves a hole with those three early turnovers, but after reviewing the clip above UST generated those turnovers. It wasn't like it was a bad quarterback-center exchange, a bad throw, or anything like that. Dowdle, Mitchell, and Danhauer made amazing plays.
I think it's time for CC to move on from the triple option. They have the athletes to play with anyone and they are a top 20 team. I think they've reached a point where the offense is holding them back. Especially when they are playing from behind against good teams.
I feel that way too, or at least move away from it as having it all the time. If the players you have are best used in that scheme, then so be it, but it would seem like they're under-utilizing skills at times.

Is Horan an offensive guy? Is he attached to the option or is there somebody else on staff that's the option guru?

I saw that Josh Parks is listed as a senior this year. If my memory serves me correctly, I thought he had one more year of eligibility?
Josh Parks is a junior.
