Don't get carried away. The record stands at UMU 3 - SJU 1.
13 national championships - yeh, i better be careful what I wish for. Are you serious?
I'm trying to wish the best for SJU. You want me to be careful? OK!

Boy, talk about your thin skin. All I'm sayin' is SJ2 is the only team in the country that can say the last time they played UMU they won. Although I am not 100% sure. Was 2003 the last time SJ2 and Mount played?

Not a question if thin skin. You said be careful what you wish for. Really?
Yes, 2003 was the last time Mount played St. John's.
Hey, I,m rooting for everyone, Mount Union first! ☠ 🏈 ☠

Would be fun to see them play again (only at SJ2)

Now that we've both calmed down.
Would love to see UMU and SJU play each other. Two programs that have both been pretty good over the years - would be a fun game to watch.
When Mount played St. John's at Alliance in 2001, I got to talk to some of the players from thr 2000 Johnnies team, who had graduated. Great guys. Had fun with them and talked them in to going to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Canton is only 18 miles away. After driving from Collegeville, what's 18 miles.
Have the greatest respect for St. John's. Wish them well. ☠ 🏈 ☠

Oops, I forgot. In some circles it's "SJ2" and not "SJU". A thousand pardons! ☠ 🏈 ☠

Up close and personal with 2018 National Champion, OWT and AA Lucas Jeske of Augsburg. A huge part of the youthful Auggie wrestling team.

I wish either UST or SJ2 would schedule a home and home with  Mount. It's too bad the price is too high to pay if you lose,  even a close game.

That was my junior year.  Ugh, that wasn't a real pleasant game.  The HOF was cool, though.

I had the privilege of watching Duff play in 2000 & 2001.  LK always had good things to say about you.

LOL, you only saw me in the sideline in 2000!  In 2001, LK may have said, "let's just run the ball at #72 all day long."  ;)

You're a humble man, Duff. A great quality! I too saw you play quite a bit to be honest. I also know the program (and Jerry Haugen) well enough to know you don't play on that d-line without being as quick as a cat. Cheers to you!

I don't think it needs to be a high price, hell even a loss to a top team should be worth more than a win against an also-ran, as long as the score wasn't out of hand. If the fear is you will lose a Conference game or two in addition then so what you were likely not going to have the talent to go very far in the Playoffs anyway. Too many AQ's watering down the field and it just keeps getting worse as more conferences expand. :P :-[

If the Vikes or Bears don't snap them up, that is.  ::)
