After defeating Albany College of Pharmacy (far from being any competition) Keuka is a strong 4-0. Lincoln, Edwards, Whyte, and Davis have been caring the team-nobody else seems to be playing any minutes. In a sub par league they should be enough to challenge for the conference title

I believe SUNY-IT will make a big jump this season-I am not saying that they will contend for the sunyac title or finish 1,2, or 3 but they will be much improved. They have a few juco transfers from CCC, Herkimer, and Mohawk Valley that were all region players that will instantly make them better. And with Murphy you never know what can happen
ummmmm....It seems like I remember saying that SUNY IT would be much improved this season (refer to my statment above), but so many of you chose to laugh at me.

Not a bad list-since you can't add Melzer I will. And also, Josh Iserloth from UWSP. If I remember correctly he started the SP domination of the WIAC.

Word on the street is that KC has a 6'10" transfer that tried to make it in the higher levels but didnt have the heart, work ethic, or desire to be a student...Anyone have an update??
If they have any size to go with the athletic Davis and the good guard combo that they have they could be tough???

D3 coaches are restricted to conditioning/weight lifting until the season officially begins. There have been talks of adjusting the rule, however, D3 coaches cannot have basketball related sessions with their players

I love what the pointers are doing with the charity game and am glad to see Coach Sem at the helm. I have known Semling since his GB days and he is a players-coach. If he can use the UWSP success to continue recruiting (and Anderson will help a great deal with that), he will continue the winning tradition at Point

KC's slow start every year may have something to do with the scheduling. But a bigger problem is the fact they are a LOW DIII that cannot recruit against or compete with the DIII's in upstate NY that they play against.

You mentioned transfers to Gaubatz resume, did you forget to mention Andy Jahnke, or was it just plain luck that decided to transfer from YSU to get back in WI.
Especially considering a former Manitowoc Roncalli teamate (Neal Krajnik) played at UWSP when they won the NCAA's two years ago.

According to the team schedule Keuka will be playing Hobart again this season. Also of note, KC will be taking on DI Cornell in January. Junior's Corey Edwards and Todd Lincoln (all-NEAC in '04) will team up with seniors Hanif Davis and Josh Whyte to create a very dangerous squad. However, something is lacking from this team, always has and always will. They start out slow, and don't know how to play to win-rather seem to be coached like they don't want to lose. Tough spot to be in. I pick them to finish 3rd in this still weak conference.
