If I have time, some times for sure, I'm going to add a quick comment as to where the teams are in their league standings so impact is more obvious..

Glad to see it's of interest.

Big Game Thursday Only 1.

ASC East Texas Baptist H  (4 - 2) (11 - 4)       vs Texas-Dallas A  (5 - 2) (11 - 3)  East Texas Baptist 61-57

Teams were 1st and 2nd in the ASC East Division and still are except they exchanged positions.

ETBU is now 5-2 and Texas-Dallas is 5-3. ETBU still without their star center Jamil Samuel, out since December 12th. Anyone know his status? I assume he's injured but will he return? With him they could make another decent run in the NCAA tournament. Without him they may not make the tournament.

I don't see many games scheduled for tonight in the area being impacted by the storm this evening.  I'm sure tomorrow will have many postponed games.  (edit, as of 10pm already 10 postponements for Saturday)

So apparently the big storm is tomorrow?

The worst is yet to come, but some areas (including Salem) already had a foot of snow by late this afternoon.

Scoreboard doesn't list any postponements today (but as sac noted, there weren't any games in the hardest hit areas).

A lot of tomorrow's games got played tonight - most of them not on the d3hoops.com scoreboard.  I suppose they'll get updated eventually.

ASC  Hardin-Simmons at McMurry  (Records do not matter.) Resuming the rivialry. "Crosstown Showdown".  First game since 2012 ASC tourney finals when McMurry won in OT to get the Pool A bid.

Former HSU star and assistant coach and now McMurry Head Coach Zach Pickelman gets a 93-90 win over the Cowboys.  Very nice!

Two things: the storm hit the Baltimore area yesterday afternoon, but won't end snowing until very, very late tonight/early tomorrow morning. The winds will also be around until morning. So that answers that question. :)

The second thing, when games are postponed and they find a makeup date, SIDs and others can easily just change that game in the system... you never see "postponed" on the schedule because the game simply moves.
