Looks like it's time to starting talking CC football 2017.  Preseson Poll is out ... Blue Jays #1.  They lost a ton, surprised it wasn't closer, although Mules lost maybe best QB in league history.  Top five might be interchangeable this year.  Should be a great season.

Dark horse team of the year: Bryn Mawr

Just a joke folks.  Looks like the same old centennial as we know it.  Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Susquehanna on top.  Interested to see how the rest of the year plays off.  Excited for the Hopkins Mules game as it never disappoints.

Corp. Out

jumpshot

Gettysburg at 0-3 after losing its first three games, each in the final seconds. Annually recurring hype never seems to pan out. Best days were 50 years ago.

F&M pulling out wins so far this year.
Tough stretch ahead with Muhl and then @JHU.
Susq beat Muhl and held Hop close, so we'll see.

Hopkins still probably going to win the conference again and doubtful we get more than 1 in NCAAs.
Still would be nice to open Shadek with a home CC-MAC Bowl!

Ursinus ends Hopkins streak!
Can F&M beat Hopkins?
Dips eek out a win of MUHL in the final game at Sponagule-Williamson Field.

Good to see JHU and F&M still regionally ranked.  Hopeing the CC can get in the win column this year with the MAC-CC bowls. 0-4 since the start 2yrs ago

And on the eighth day, God created the Centennial Conference

There is seldom much acitivity on this board, but

2 OT losses by Susquehanna in the last 2 weeks certainly hurts!

By the end of the season, they will likely be the best 8-2 team in the country

The Mole

New to the board but longtime follower of D3 football. I live in Centennial land and have always been a big fan of the league and mission of all the schools.
Agree with you Ralph, Susquehanna could be the best two loss team in the country. The CC appears to be pretty competitive. Dickinson at 1-4 has had a tough schedule but with second year coach and some young talent, could be a year way from really making a jump. Muhlenberg has a no picnic schedule the next four weeks@ @ Ursinus, @ Thomas More, McDaniel and @ Hopkins. This could be a year when there is no unbeaten in league play and the tiebreaker decides the auto bid. Next few weeks are going to be fun to watch.

Juniata @ Gettysburg: battle of the winless. Somebody gets a W. Go with the Eagles.
Muhlenberg @ Ursinus: another tough week for the Bears. Mules are on a mission...
Johns Hopkins @ F&M: Knockout game. Dips are banged up. Blue Jays could win big....
Moravian @ Susquehanna: River Hawks are battle tested. Hounds are not, it will show.
Dickinson @ McDaniel: Green Terror has all the tough teams remaining, starting here. Red Devils get this one.

What is going on in Huntingdon? 0-6, nice win for the Bullets.
I watched some of the Muhlenberg vs Ursinus second half--Mules ran the ball at will on them
Looks like a collision course of Hopkins versus Muhlenberg for the auto bid in a few weeks (shocker). F&M is really limping along, doesn't look like a 10 win team from last season.
Also watched the last drive of Moravian vs Susquehanna. PI call on a 4th down play on the last drive on what looked like an uncatchable ball was the difference. Game would have been over. However, Hounds still had to go about 1/2 the field and they did, Crusaders had no answer for shifty receiver #3. Can't believe how many Centennial games have been OT or last minute drives. Last 5 games for the Crusaders have been that way. What else can you ask for?
Nice win for the Red Devils too.
BYE week coming up, but the Mules have an interesting road game at Thomas More down in the Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati. A loss won't hurt their auto bid, BUT, if they lose to JHU and don't get the auto, an at-large might be a stretch with two losses. Should be a good test for both teams.
