I kinda agree with this.  I honestly didn't think we would be as bad as we are but we are BAD!!

My slam was on Hamline.  I'm giving CSS a free pass as a new MIAC member with a very young team.  Hamline has just sucked for ages!

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions:  1932, 1935, 1936, 1938, 1953, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1985, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2014, 2018, 2019
National Champions:  1963, 1965, 1976, 2003

I knew what you meant. Honestly none of the teams we have played yet have impressed me. I know coming off butt whooping you would think i'm crazy for saying that.

Not I think Bethel and St Johns will impress me. But watching Film on Carleton i'm not real impressed.

Well done.

AO - on a UMAC note, what changed with UNW football?  I don't pay much attention, but they were a dominant force in the not too distant past, right?

The game notes for the St John's/St Olaf game have been posted to gojohnnies.com.

Based on the notes a couple of players could make their way into the top 10 of SJU record books this weekend.

Henry Trost sitting on 22 career rushing TDs. One more ties him for 10th and three ties him for 9th.
Ravi Alston needs 4 receptions and 135 yards to get to 10th in history for both categories.
Wouldn’t put it past both to get the job done on Saturday.

Mount Union lost the regular season finale to John Carroll in 2016 and entered the playoffs ranked No. 7.

Last time we played STO we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth at halftime, having been outplayed and out hustled.  The first team stayed in for all four quarters and the final score looks like a smashing but it wasn't.

A danger game.  They get their tails up and we come out flat or over confident and we could all be unhappy campers.

LOL.

Oz....you don't have to be cautious to not overlook teams, you're a fan...

SJU is going to roll by at least 40, probably 50.

I'd say we're roughly at the same spot as a program we have been for the past few seasons even though the current record doesn't reflect that.  The non-conference schedule was much tougher this year.

Maybe this new video might help recruiting a bit. See if you can spot me, maybe twice if you've got eagle eyes. https://youtu.be/PoTLUPo6IGg  Shot by the same company that did the Cowboys Hard Knocks drone video.

Oh, no.  Not true.  I watched a youtube video about the butterfly effect once.

SJU will smash St. Olaf. You could end up -4 in the turnover department, and still win by 2+ TD's.

See, now you have me worried.  You gave me all kinds of soothing talk prior to the fiasco that was the 2019 SJU/Cobber game.  :o
