Coach fred is always fired up. Enthusiasm is Definately one strong suit of his. Coach hazel played qb for NFL EuropeGermany last year but would stay at Menlo this year if OC job were his. He's very sharp and and offensive asset for sure and would put point on the board through the air. He is a greg Barton academy student from way back and decent recruiter . Those moves would retain simbilance the same type offense with probably a little more complex passing attack.

Well aloha guys long time no post very disappointed in coach K leaving Menlo. My kid is coming into pivotal junior year and really put in a heck of a lot of effort to improve and help the program.
Very shaky situation again now He had enough issue with the platoonong at an the last two years and now the unknown.  He wants come back to northwest.  Well see if they can calm the troops down there!!

Anybody need a hard throwing junior Qb with 12

ALERT! ALERT!

Menlo college head coach, Mark Kaanapu has left the Oaks program to take over the job at JC, Merced College.

http://www.mercedsunstar.com/194/story/743006.html

"He's a relentless recruiter, is excellent at running all aspects of a football program and has a reputation for getting the most out of his kids in the classroom," Cassady said. "I think we absolutely got the best guy for the job."

Menlodaddy13...did you hear about this?
Ugh...just what Menlo needed.  A coaching change....oh well.

Busy this week, just read a few days of posts..so just a little feedback from the only Menlo poster in the last couple years.  Last year we started 17 freshman and sophomores and really couldn't compete, but got valuable game time that was irreplaceable experience underfire.  This year we have lost 6 games, 1 in OT where a weak coaching decision  ??? accounted for going for a fg on first possession in OT from the 3yd line, chapman was only blowout,  Linfield may not have seemed "as close as the score would indicate", however, a "dropped" ball in end zone and missed fg in 4thQ, sure could have been different result in the Cat Nation, also tied 28-28 in 4thQ vs OXY only to give up big play again, finally 1pt and 2pt loss and both were result of missed two point conversions :( in last couple minutes the games.  This was all with last years freshmen now sophomores leading the Oaks. The kids will be back, and as Juniors will have had more playing times and snaps then any other team in the NWC. They are starting a Pipeline from Washington with recruits from perrenial state champion Skyline HS and more are coming 8).  Don't be shocked :o if the Oaks hang in there this week, pretty dangerous offensive late this year and certainly we literally "can't wait till next year" !!!  PS good luck to Willamette in the Playoffs, take us deep!! :)

GTL..

Being from Issaquah, Ive been a Logger Lover since the Yellow Days, and Logger Bball being on local Sunday TV replays!! Menlo#13 first choice was Baker Field just couldn't get the offense looking like they wanted to throw the rock. Oh well its been fun the last two years with UPS coming to Atherton Im sure next year up in Tactown could be a different story!!  Couldnt stomach the Lute Story...any GO LOGGERS!! Put them to sleep then throw it over the top!!

                                                        Go Loggers!!!

Hope you knock the Lutes back to the Eastside of I-5 Tell Coach Dave to let Kavin air it out a bit and they'd be fine!

Just finished with Homecoming activities at Menlo campus, bright sunny and 70.  The boys are relaxed and very confident.  Gotta thank Linfield for building the attitude.  Really think UPS is in for a long day...again.  Heading to Frisco for the big dinner at Brandy Ho's festivities start at 10:30am in the menlo parking lot for any logger that needs medication before the Oak Operation

Its a Double Haka Day

no broadcast this year yet, just emailed ath dept to see if they plan to hook it up internet live like last year
It just seemed they were out of sort last year, maybe it was because it was the last game of the year and they sure are a different look with Kavin back.  Coach Dave will be looking for revenge as I gave him a pretty hard time with his family in the parking lot after last years finalle.  Being from Seattle, we have soft spot for the Loggers and spent alot of time on campus for the last few years...still Oaks will play well next week so W better have them ready
