So are the Johnnie faithful at all nervous about this game? If not, why not?

I am incredibly nervous and will not be overly surprised if GAC wins.  Now would be a great time for a Johnnie breakout game.

It this team can put together a complete 4 quarter game they should win. That said the only thing we have been is consistently inconsistent. Should be a big crowd.
The 3 keys/questions:
1. Can our o-line take control of the line of scrimmage and give Syverson a pocket and open things up for a running game?
2. Can our pass rush bring enough pressure to disrupt the GAC passing game?
3. Can our corners avid getting beat deep?

Inconsistency has been the only constant it seems and that doesn't bode well for post-season aspirations.

Looking at the game notes GAC has only recorded 8 sacks and 17 tackles for loss which is a little less than half of what SJU has recorded. May not generate a lot of negative plays but do enough to disrupt an offense.

Both teams average 31:04 in TOP, which is a strong indicator for how much of a toss up this game is  ;).

I'll state the obvious-turnovers will decide the game. I think sju gets a net 2 and wins by just under Hansen's line of 15.5.
After his second touchdown catch in a record-setting day, St. John's receiver Will Gillach pointed skyward. That, folks, was for former head coach John Gagilardi. The legendary coach of the Johnnies for 60 seasons and 64 in college overall died Sunday. He was 91. His 489 victories are most in college football history in any division.

(though Carleton makes me nervous, too, given how well they've been playing)

Appreciate the respect, but let's see how they fare in Moorhead first

Yikes that was a missed opportunity. Carleton tied the game up at 13-13 with 59 seconds left and the Carleton kicker missed his first extra point of the season. Concordia got another chance in overtime and they took advantage. Two huge scrambles by their QB.

Credit to the Concordia defense for stepping up at key moments today. Was a little peeved they kept coincidentally having cramps when Carleton would get in a rhythm and go up tempo. Singleton did not look good today. The offensive line was constantly getting beat in pass protection. The offense as a whole looked bad today and had a ton of mistakes: 2 redzone fumbles, 2 interceptions. Special teams was the difference though, 2 punts blocked including one that was scooped up for a TD and what should've been the extra point to win them the game and advance to 7-0, missed.

Well I think these two teams may meet again in the final week and if they do, I'm betting on Carleton to win the rematch in Northfield. On to GAC.

A positive note I suppose is that you still control your destiny in the northwoods division. If the divisional format continues you wonder how many years you'll need to consistently end the season above .500 and/or beat your Northfield neighbor before you get to compete against the upper half of the skyline division. I feel like that'd be the goal beyond getting x amount of wins each season.

I thought the cross division games were on a two year cycle based on previous record? So with their recent success I'd imagine Carleton for the next two years will play Bethel and... Augsburg? Meanwhile, St. Scholastica avoided them (Bethel) and if they finish on the bottom again, maybe they avoid them for another two year cycle. I was under the impression that's how it worked and I think that makes sense.

GAC has a good team.  Definitely one of the best offenses in the league.

SJU made some good adjustments at the half.

I was not impressed by that crew of officials
