Lots of game summaries here.  Can someone give me a breakdown of the SUNYAC this season?  What did the pre-season coaches poll say, who are the teams to watch, who are the players to watch, etc?

Jose, I don't believe there is a preseason poll anymore in the SUNYAC. They went away with it a couple of years ago. I believe Dick Bihr complained when his team didn't live up to expectations after they won the SUNYAC tourney the year before. It could be a down year for the SUNYAC because some many of the teams lost quality players.

On another note, Potsdam loses again to Clarkson. What is going on with the Bears? Expectations were high and they've looked awful with their only win coming against Vermont School for the Blind. Is Reinhardt playing above his head or has he gotten a lot better since last year?

Could Brockport be back to it's old ways with pressure defense all around and going deep into the bench? Causing 29 turnovers brings the Eagles back to the days of Ricky Hollis and Mark Perry.

Big win for Oneonta against Cortland. I would assume expectation at Cortland are high again because of what they return. They don't have experienced size which I'm sure hurt them against Heslin.

Jose, check back on these pages for an early (preseason) look at SUNYAC. Looks very much to these eyes like wide open chase, but still very, very early. Bports and Geneseos trek to Plattsburgh and Potsday this weekend for interesting tests. And we're looking forward to see Cortland in first home outing Friday against Techsters of Utica
