as in it's on both iowa and high point u's websites?
As in the Guilford Athletic Dept. on the first and a team letterman on the second.  I hope both are correct.

Edited 21-Sept-2018:  Schedule is up ... HPU Oct 30 and Iowa Nov 4.

From a Guilford College news release Oct 2:

"Guilford College Director of Athletics Sue Bower named Reid Jacoby assistant men's basketball coach Tuesday. Jacoby, a 2018 graduate of Guilford's Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC)-rival Randolph College, joins lead assistant Ronnie Thomas on head coach Tom Palombo's staff for the 2018-19 season."

^^^ Interesting that the AD is the one who "named" him as the assistant coach. Is that just a semantic thing, or did she actually do the hiring? Normally the head coach would decide who he wants for his assistants, right?

May be semantic ... and while the coach approves and runs their program, ultimately it is the AD who is in charge and will approve of hires and such.

Not the greatest wording, but doesn't seem like something to read much into IMO

W&L did the same thing with their most recent assistant hire.

R-MC lost an exhibition game at D2 Virginia State yesterday 75-67. The Jackets shot 39 three pointers and took 32 two pointers against what appears to be a taller team (four guys 6'7" - 6'9" logged 10+ minutes for VSU). Twelve made threes (vs seven for VSU) is probably what kept the score as close as it was.

Guilford opens tomorrow night at DI High Point.  Former HPU player and Kentucky HC Tubby Smith is now at the helm for his alma mater.  The Panthers and the Quakers used to be conference rivals in the old NAIA Carolinas Conference.  Sunday, Nov. 4, the Quakers take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City.

The game against High Point is an exhibition, right? Tubby Smith has been around -- taking five schools to the NCAA tournament. Great way to wrap up his career at his alma mater.

Has to be an exhibition ... season can't officially start until Nov. 8.

Yes, both are exhibitions.  In addition to Kentucky, Tubby has coached at Tulsa, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas Tech and Memphis.  Returning to his alma mater is surely his swan song.
