This should finally explain Packer fans to you mud ducks.  :P   ;)

Ah, so that's why Pack fans look like they spend Monday to Friday lined up in front of the methadone clinic.

Yeah, but with Macdonald's installing self-service kiosks in every store across American over the next two years how much longer can UST keep that up?

A definite chuckle on that one! +K, However, I was thinking it is probably why they've been getting all those D1 recruits.  ;)

Had to share this, incredibly jealous of the Johnnies who got $7k to write a single paper on whatever they wanted.  I had some good summer jobs during college, but nothing that paid that well for part time work or allowed that much freedom.  Maybe Roger would have been happier if they wrote about Tommie failures.

An LA-living personal injury/arbitration lawyer who has been disciplined by that state licensing authority.  I suspect this could turn out to be quite a brawl.  I'd offer the $300k back, with interest, and call it quits.

After a bye week the Hawks return to take on the Adelaide Crows at a frigid MCG tonight in a battle to remain relevant for both teams.  Both squads sit just on the bubble of post season qualification so this game will have a big impact on whether they continue to remain relevant to the competition.  Fingers crossed as I expect a cold, windy and very wet night tonight.  I'll be staying under cover, that's for sure.

Also it's Shaun "Silk" Burgoyne's (below) 350th game tonight.  The Hawks tend to lift for the champions' milestone games so I'm hoping for a great showing and a rousing victory.

St. Thomas Pressure Package

..."X&O Labs' brand-new special report features an in-depth examination of the University of St. Thomas' NCAA record-breaking defense last year. X&O Labs spent a week in St. Paul, MN meeting with head coach Glenn Caruso and defensive coordinator Wallie Kuchinski to discover how the Tommie defense held opponents to 21 yards a game rushing last season. That's 9-inches per rush. Turns out they did it by pressuring on 85% of downs..."

Sounds about right OZ. A professional suer. My guess is he will initiate another Lawsuit against SJU.

And the Hawks had a big victory over the Crows on a chilly 44 degree night.  Although the rains let up before game time, the air was wet and the wind was very cold.  The first half was a snoozefest, but the Hawks broke out in the third quarter and turned on some pretty slick game play to run away with the win.

Shawn Burgoyne get's a victory in his 350th and the Hawks stay in the hunt for a post-season berth.

Thanks MUC, back at you!

Speaking of Fathers, I'll be giving away another one of my daughters this Friday evening. This is the 2nd one in two years. Both Son-in-Laws are former Tommie linebackers that played in Stagg Bowls, one in 2012 and the other in 2015. Should be a fun event. Another one launched! Yay!

I hope you guys all had a great Father's Day.  Mine was...meh.  Sleep-deprived kids have a way of grating on you.  We had a fun weekend, but there were a lot of meltdowns.  Plus, we're dealing with a motor failure on our Tahoe.  Grrrrrr!

A tradition unrivaled...

Duff, no worries. You know my story. I'm a Tommie fan, not a Tommie (just a boat load of ties to UST) Translation: While I might be a big fan and supporter of UST, I don't have that innate disdain you actual Tommies and Johnnies have for each other. In the words of MUC57 go everyone!

Don't tell your sons-in-law that you have been chatting with a fan from the team that beat them both of those years.
Hope you had a good Father's Day. You certainly have a few things going on. Best to ya! ☠🏈
