Coach Finstock - "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that and everything else is cream cheese."

9 more Saturdays until IIAC football.  Now I'm waiting for updated rosters to see who returns and who the new guys are.

Mr. Hansen is damn smart and clearly knows what he's talking about?
Mr. Hansen is an idiot that wouldn't know the difference between a football and a golf ball?
Team X is over rated and here's why...
Team X is under rated and here's why...
Grinnell might pull an Oxy and pull the plug on their program mid season?

By the way, all 9 Wiscy teams are in the top 44.  I didn't go any farther than top 2 in these 4 conferences, but is there any fans of those teams that want to chime in on who'se under/overrated?

Without looking I'll say that most IIAC teams are playing non-con games with some of the toughest conferences in D3.  Also, even though I hate to say it, puts bit of a shine on Warty's quarterfinal appearance last year

I'll put my red shades on and say Central will finish higher than 32 and may toy with a playoff spot.  They should win both Non-cons (Northwestern and DePauw?)  But I also think Coe and DBQ are a bit underrated, so, there's the challenge, can the Dutch do no worse than 1 loss?  With Sacia (sp?) I'm thinking another couple wins for Warts in the playoffs.

GO DUTCH!

Anyone that considers UD underrated gets two thumbs up and positive karma from me   ;)

If the pizza soaks up the beer I've had I'll take a look at non-con games for IIAC teams and see who gets who and where during conference play.

You are correct.  I fixed it.  And in the future I will think twice before drinking and posting (but will probably still post)  ;)
Looking forward to D3football kickoff and seeing how their ranking compare.

Hansen says these are preliminary rankings based on four years of past performances.  He will adjust the rankings once he learns (from DIII fb Kickoff) how many starters return.  So, there will be some later adjustments to consider when looking at the match ups.   Those changes will not make much difference for the widely separated teams.  For those teams relatively closely ranked, there may be a refinement that bears consideration.
