General Basketball / Re: Best attendance

Few outside of Los Angeles (and few from Los Angeles) are familiar with tiny Div III Occidental College, though it produced some memorable NFL players and coaches such as retired coach Jim Mora ("Playoffs?!) and qb/ex-Senator Jack Kemp, not to mention succesful Hollywood types. The school also may have produced a future US President: Barack Obama attended the school from 1978-1980 and was the school's leading scorer in basketball in 1979.

For what it's worth, I believe that "fact" about him being the leading scorer may not be all that accurate.

Not if you change to a fake e-mail address ...

I don't think the lack of a restriction is unusual in any way. There aren't many leagues that restrict intraconference transfers.

To the person who keeps registering with fake names: Continuing to do so will force me to ban your IP address completely, which means your two (why do you need more than one?) "real" names would be booted as well.

Sorry you didn't read the TOS beforehand to see your identity is not secret. That's why we have Terms of Service. We don't really tolerate people lying about who they are, like this is some high school board.

To the IIAC fan who is attempting to register for a second username from the same IP address -- why? You are already registered.

Disgracetofball, your name suits you well, you are pathetic and a disgracetofball. At least these kids are playing the game instead of bashing it like you. [remainder deleted]

Hey, uhm, maddog, that isn't even close to appropriate. You know what I'm referring to. Don't go there.

I try not to be too bias to my fellow eagles

Dude, spare us. Everyone can see your e-mail address. That's just stupid to even try.

This is where it pays to actually read the Terms of Service and the registration agreement.

Hmm, brat, I'm going to draw the line at unsubstantiable rumors about an individual person's transcript. Don't start that.

If you are not Derek J. Blanchard then you had better well cease and desist posting here. You registered with his e-mail address.

I was willing to consider there might be more than one D.Blanchard on Mount Union's campus, but I did a quick search of the school's site and determined that Derek Blanchard's middle initial is J.

I guess you didn't read the Terms of Service. Everyone can see your e-mail address, son.

Yeah, uhm, you'd be wrong there. I have received no phone calls (or e-mails, in case you were wondering) from anyone at Framingham -- not the coaching staff, not the athletic administration. No faxes (we don't have one).

If you need guidance regarding what axe-grinding is, then I can't help you. Our Terms of Service are on the front page of the board. Also, you are edging into the area of harassing as mentioned in the registration agreement to use the board.

Also if you read the other conferences posts they all talk trash. Why am I being singled out here?

I don't see anyone else dominating a message board with their axe to grind against an individual. But I have removed other posts, banned other posters, and warned other posters.

I am telling you the rule right here in my posts. If you continue to debate it you'll be doing it elsewhere, because you won't be posting on the site.

Why is this so hard to understand? I have warned you. If you don't appreciate the warning or abide by it then you can go elsewhere. I have the right to apply whatever rules necessary, and I have decided that this is enough.

Consistently over the course of the seven seasons that I have moderated this message board, I have applied the rules. You do not have an inalienable right to be on this message board -- it is private property.

This is not a place for axe-grinding.

Stop your axe-grinding.

You have made your point.

Hopefully this is clear enough for you.

This is rediculous [sic] if they can't take the heat from a open forum, hahaha. I have a right to speak my mind on here as long as I don't use obseen [sic] language or threat [sic] anybody.

Uh huh... you keep thinking that. We have the right to restrict the forum on whatever basis we like. But if you don't heed the warning there won't be another. End of conversation.

I look back and see there is indeed other conversation here -- it's just hard to find it in your diatribe.

Why do you say it's an open forum? You have to register to enter.
This is a open forum, how is what I'm saying illegal? Plus no one else is bring [sic] up any topics.

That doesn't mean you have to beat the same horse to death over and over. Consider it a heads-up. We've gotten your point. But this site, while available to those who wish to register, isn't here to support your axe-grinding.
