&%$!, so I missed something good!

So, I scrolled up the queue and have noticed that a certain "colorful musician" that is a fan of a team on the West coast is now a guest. By deduction, I suspect he posted a response to the thread about walk-on receivers that was not flattering in some way - and I missed it too. Dang!  ::)

I guess some folks find it hard to walk that line between keeping things lively and being a jerk.

There is literally just one person on the board who has anything close to 50 warnings. That person posted something that is like 6 levels over the top and was yeeted.

There's got to be some kind of repository for these kinds of things. Somewhere that the offending post could be screen captured and posted for all to see in an appropriate forum. It would have to be someplace grim, dirty, and dimly lit--like the Mos Eisley Cantina from Star Wars.

Basically Twitter.

Could you screen capture it and post it to Twitter?

I did screen capture it but I wouldn't post it, no.

Thumbnail sketch ...

I love reading posts on this board from (Denis Leary-type medium-strength expletive) and (term nobody should say any longer which was once used to refer to the developmentally delayed).

It's a (distinctly unpleasant bodily function issue) unique to the MIAC board.

Basically Twitter.

Perhaps there should be a "Best of Post Patterns" Twitter account, much like the hilarious Best of NextDoor and Best of Dying Twiter accounts.  Pat, you send me the screen shots and I will set up the Twitter account.  ;D

Not a perma-ban, surely.  He's undoubtedly cantankerous but he enjoys this place.  I look at him like I look at a crazy old uncle.  Roll my eyes and move on.

Far less drama, but Frank R. wrote about the Nick Sirianni, the former Mount Union receiver and now Eagles head coach, that the Johnnies beat in 2003 in the national championship game. He interviews Johnnies about Sirianni and the 2003 championship game against Mount Union.

There certainly is a hard earned brand to protect here. I have always felt there has been quite a bit of tolerance on these boards.

Agreed. Things can get pretty heated when we post something about time of possession or the non-advance rule on a fair catch before hopping in our Corvette for a Sunday afternoon drive. Luckily, we've been able to govern ourselves in those conversations and not let things get out of hand.

I think we can all agree that the non-call on that play was a season-changing call.

The whole thing is rigged!--Rigged, I tell you!!!

I agree Pat, I've been on these boards less than a year and have run across posts that were unnecessarily offense, he's either doing it deliberately for shock value, to get a rise or truly expresses himself that way in daily life...either way, policing gets old...ban and move on.

I always thought he just drank excessively before posting. But agree, it would be a nightmare to monitor him!
