Not sure when pairings come out and how they go about seeding, but if they go by national polls, from the last poll and who's remaining I have it:

1 Trinity
2 C-M-S
3 Calvin
4 Juniata
5 UWEC
6 Berry
7 MIT
8 Tufts

Maybe CMS jumps Trinity since they came through a tougher region and took out undefeated Wartburg to advance?

Pairings are out.

1 Juniata
8 MIT

4 UWEC
5 Tufts

2 C-M-S
7 Berry

3 Trinity
6 Calvin

Based on last week's AVCA poll Calvin dropped for the seeding while Juniata got a nice boost.

It should be noted that  one of MIT's top middle hitters (Consecrata Rozario) had to leave yesterday's regional final during the third set after suffering a non-contact injury. If she can't go against Juniata, the Engineer squad's depth will be put to the test. Rozario had a .438 hitting pct for the match at the time of the injury.

You got that right!  Calvin had several serves go long on them, and that was one big-time factor in their loss.

Seemingly fitting, in a fall season that was chock full of upsets and several underdogs making mild statements (in regular season and post-season).

You got that right!  Calvin had several serves go long on them, and that was one big-time factor in their loss.

Seemingly fitting, in a fall season that was chock full of upsets and several underdogs making mild statements (in regular season and post-season).

Especially in the first two sets, with the score so close those "unearned" points I felt definitely swung the result in Eau Claire's favor.
