Plattsburgh's shutout streak. When will it end?

Plattsburgh is 7-0 with 8 straight shutouts dating back to last season. With the shutout streak currently sitting at 480 minutes and 17 seconds I am guessing that is some sort of record. Can anyone confirm if a team has had one last longer?

It appears the NCAA does not keep an official record of this, but a quick look at things and I see the 2009 Gustavus Adolphus team went 7+ games without allowing a goal.  Counting the overtime of one of the seven, as well as the portions of two games that bookend the shutouts, the total streak comes to 483:00.

I can't imagine there's a longer one out there, but it's possible.  Can the Cardinals make it three minutes without allowing a goal tomorrow? :)

I think your math is flawed. Their streak stopped at 463:00.

My bad on that, read the box wrong by a period.  It's all moot now, anyway, though this weekend should bring a pretty strong chance of that streak ending...maybe.

After seeing what has happened since, I don't feel half so bad about the way Platts beat up on Norwich in Game 1 of the season.

They are pretty darn impressive, but Midd may be a legit challenge for them.  Elmira seems to be a step behind the top 3.  Midd/Platts will be an interesting game.

Amherst scored and the shutout streak ended.  Top ranked Platt. was fortunate to tie the game with 9 seconds to go in regulation, IMO  :).  Been awhile since I watched a women's game...enjoy them over the men's game actually.

Once you stop anticipating the hit that is coming (but would be illegal), you can appreciate the skill that the top women's players have.  Watching Sophie Leclerc, Julie Fortier play for Norwich was an eye opener for me for the women's game. 

It takes a different skill set, yet in many ways the game looks the same.
