True. :) But this crew was so hot on the trail of an AQ that its football teams left 10 teams in the lurch four months before the season started. And what happened? The PAC got two Pool B bids.

University of Dallas has strung together a nice 5 game winning streak, including 3 straight over South Region opponents.

If today's Hendrix victory is significant for the UD Lady Crusaders getting with first year Head Coach Gen Schmitt's** program, then winning the last 6 South Region games or least defeating everyone except Trinity would give them no less than an 8-4 in-region record.  For Pool B, that might not be out of the realm of salvageable for one of the 4 Pool B bids.  A win over Trinity moves them to 9-3 in this scenario and could mean a victory over the SCAC AQ.  A 9-3 record is probably what it will take.  There are good Pool B squads in the Pres AC, the NIIC, the GSAC, plus Chapman.

They are standing precariously on the bubble, but the team seems to be getting better each game.

I gotta agree with you there Ralph, huge win for UD and I think they can beat a lot of the teams left on their schedule and with the lack of quality independents out there, they've got an outside shot at the tourney.  I thought Hendrix might have enough talent to make some noise in the SCAC this year, so either I'm way off on that thought or UD is playing some great basketball.  And don't forget Coach Gen Schmitt was also on the Marymount (VA) team that went to the Final Four the year Stevens Point won it all, she knows a thing or two about winning at this level.

Southwestern 83, UDallas 63!

Boink!  That means that UDallas must run the table.

UDallas came back to reality.  Southwestern is only 2-4 against the ASC-West, but has soundly defeated UDallas twice.

Congratulations to Lincoln University's Mary Rotimi who is ranked ninth in DIII rebounds with a total of 133 with an average of 12.1 rpg.  The Lady Lions as a team are struggling, hopefully, the second half of the season will be better.

As of right now, who do you think would get in as Pool B?

Also, as I was checking schools you've listed, Rockford has four losses now.  All of them are from in region opponents but why does it only say 3 of them are???  Just curious to see how it works.

Good pick-up, d3d3!!!.  +1 karma point! :)

The UW-Whitewater game is not noted as an in-region game on the schedule.

I will notify Pat so he can correct it! :)
