I think you are selling the job short a bit.

There would be 400 applicants over night if the UMHB job were to open, D1 coordinators, 5A/6A head coaches all over the state and country and potentially even some older college head coaches looking to find their forever job... I think we could get a total slam dunk no questions asked.

For sure I'm probably underestimating, and that would be great. I just hope we make a move

I go back and forth between what / who the Cru should consider bringing in as a HC replacement for Harmon. Initially I think about a up and coming proven Texas HS coach, but I could be onboard with robbing another ASC team. I remember watching Jordan Neal as a player, and even had the pleasure of meeting his dad a couple times when I was rooting for the opposing team, and super impressed.

I think he could shine at a program like UMHB

I'm starting to get the vibe that he isn't getting replaced... hopefully I'm wrong.

Unfortunately I think you are closer to being right than I am. Another option, would Temple HS coach Stewart be interested? Great success at the Texas HS level, local, and coming off a rough season and not sure what my Wildcats have in place for the next few years in their new district

The Cru QB for the future doesn't appear to be on our roster. I've got a lot of concerns about things moving forward, and discipline has been a huge question. What about recruiting?

Wondering if we are going to see the Cru try to stretch the field today

Whoever is running the camera for the HSU game is struggling

No UmHB feed?

UMHB will be dangerous in the ASC. If that is the #4 team in D3 then UMHB is a dark horse at 0-3 to make some noise. Young and athletic. A Team like that, what they displayed today, shows they can play with anyone. Stay faithful CRU and don't worry about the rankings. That was a tough gauntlet for pre-conference. Goodluck. Tough loss, but that was tremendous growth against a tough top 5 opponent.

Cowboy...

They may be dangerous, but now there is 0 margin for error. Every week in conference is must win.

In all fairness, most years in ASC there's little margin of error

Did not realize the HC sits in the press box. Forget that!

I saw a different team today, definitely an improvement in effort and execution. Fell short, but I like that we saw some progress

Congrats UWW

It was painful watching the game this evening. I recognized the uniforms, but the players wearing them are a far distant kinfolk from those that played and wore the uniform in past seasons.

Although the O-line played better today compared to last week they were still moving very sluggish and had difficult time protecting Phe and giving him enough time while he was in the pocket to get the ball to a receiver. The D-line is still slow to get to the play and when they do get there their lack of ability to wrap up their tackles instead of trying to bounce their bodies off the ball carrier. The backfield while in coverage too often failed to stay in the same zip code of the receiver.

As a whole there seems to be a general lack of desire to give 100% each and every play. There is no esprit de corps and a lot of players seem to be riding the coat tails of past seasons. The inability to play with a level head and not lash out, collecting way too many penalties. Coach Harmon and the other coaches must do a better job of getting the team ready for the game. The players need to strive to follow through on every play.

Next week we have Whitewater coming down to Belton. I hope that the coaches and players can get their heads on straight and play like a national championship team. This year's team had some difficulties playing River Falls and Trinity, Whitewater is going to rip The Cru to shreds. If The Cru is not successful in beating Whitewater, then we go into conference play 0-3! By the end of the season The Cru might have a hard time finishing the season with a .500 record.

If I were running this program, I would make it clear every starting position is open to earn, even JV. Time to put pressure and see who's bought in

Honestly, a reset was bound to happen... and if I was in charge of things, I would use this year to assess development, progress, and reflect on recruiting. If I didn't see a positive direction for the program, I would clean house ASAP and get this program back on track

Cru is now 0-2 for the first time since 1999.
UMHB has never gone 0-3.

UMHB is a more successful program than even Mount Union, so I've been told  No chance that they get boat raced by UWW

Keyboard warrior...

UMHB just has to "get over that hump",  which apparently is winning one game.  0-2 is pretty bad,but 0-3.... yikes

Once again, easy to run your mouth behind a keyboard.

Use your big Texas brain and tell me how exactly would I do anything else...on an internet forum...

Appreciate the compliment
It's time for all of us to just stop responding to this clown. He's a loser who's looking for attention, and the next time he actually contributes to any football conversation will be the first.

Amazing.

By the end of 2018, UMHB under Fredenburg had emerged as the premier football program in D3. It took less than 2 years for Harmon and his staff to turn it into a laughing stock.

Can't argue
