If BC admin is serious about football then they need a sea change in direction. Fish stinks from the head. Don't want to hear about offense coming alive today. Catholics defense was flat awful. Left people wide open downfield and just flat fell on some coverages. There was talent for BC this year leftover from last year but coaches just failed them frankly.

CMR

14-9 OUCH!  This one has to really hurt as an HSC fan, not sure how the Jackets won this one.  I'd agree on the venue, it's got to be one of the best in the ODAC and beyond.  Plus, there are more upgrades to come.

RMC has now won 4 out of last 5.  RMC has a very young team, so next year should be better in the win column.

Proud of the Generals. Looking forward to where they land in the playoffs. If it's a home game, and the weather isn't garbage, I'll be in Lexington. Saw the first playoff game, want to see the first home playoff game. First ODAC school to go 7-0 in conference. Huge achievement for a team coming off a 2-8 season. The ride isn't over!

Good luck to Guilford. Given the game in Lex was basically a coin flip, I hope you guys get in.

Congrats to R-MC. Way to finish strong and try and get on track for next year.

Maybe W&L should come up to Crestview Hills, KY and rematch the game from a few years ago!

Congrats on 10-0.  People really don't appreciate how big of an accomplishment that is - unless you've played and been close or were able to do it.  It's damn tough.

, TMC ought to travel to Lexington. They will have no RR'd opponents and a slightly worse SOS. Neither team made the playoffs the last couple years. By the criteria I'm not sure how TMC stays in front of W&L unless W&J sneaks into the rankings as Case has to fall out. They probably will, but that's different than the criteria...

Well nuts to that since the guys think SJF will sneak into the east rankings. Maybe W&L will end up in Kentucky again...

They also think Guilford gets in if ONU is on the North board ahead of Olivet. Interesting.

See you Saturday!

I told Pat last night they would have Ohio Northern in the field.  Lucky guess

I'm not talking to you, Bub.  I could care less if I meet someone with such an attitude.  I'm hoping to meet jknezek, finally.

That just blows. I can't say how disappointed I am. W&L has the same RRO as TMC if SJF made the field, a better SOS, and the same winning percentage. All you can say is TMC is a bigger name, otherwise W&L had every bit the right to host. Neither has made the field in a couple years. I get they are behind TMC in the RR, so that's why it got paired that way, but it's crap when you look at other hosts.

Suny Cortland hosts with 2 losses, Albright with a loss hosts a joke in Norwich. Franklin with 2 losses hosts ONU. Yeah, Franklin's SOS is below W&L's and they are at best 0-1 vs RROs. Both these teams are in range of a perfect W&L. Yeah, that's as much a  gift as Albright got. Ridiculous. Huntingdon hosts because of geography despite a loss, can we call that the H-SC victory?, W&L gets b-s'd into a road game with a 10-0 record.

No, W&L got absolutely shafted by any logical measure.

Guilford doesn't get in while Witworth and ONU do. That's a hose as well when looking at the criteria. The ODAC got shafted overall.

Need to schedule better OOC opponents guys. It's the only way to do it because barring a complete luck storm like H-SC got, the ODAC is not going to get paired with first round favorable games.

Fuming about being sent on the road when so many other teams with sh!ttier criteria stay home...

SaintsFan I would have gone to a home game but I'm not going to TMC. Too much time to miss with the family especially right before Thanksgiving since we're heading out of town most of that week. TMC is actually closer to me, but I just don't have the desire. Was really hoping for the team's first home game. My Dad and I were planning on meeting up. Oh well. Maybe another year...

Alright, man.   Totally understand your frustration here.  If you change your mind, let me know.

The NCAA missed a great team in Guilford.  It's a shame that the circumstances of the W&L game defined a season and, essentially, the career of these great seniors.

Good luck to W&L.

d3football.com says Whitworth and Guilford had nearly identical resumes and I agree, but Whitworth lost to Linfield 52-10 and Guilford lost their only game 20-17 in the rain and on the road when our star QB was knocked out with a possible concussion early in the second quarter and the W&L Generals hit a school-record 51-yard FG.  I understand LC is RR #2 and W&L is RR #5, but this is a classic case of a team that got robbed.

I'd say it's pretty clear Linfield is better than Whitworth.  I don't think that's so obvious in Guilford's case with W&L.  I also don't understand how at-large teams such as ONU got in with 2 losses and SJF got in with three!  They say life isn't fair and here's your proof.  Boo NCAA ... you blew it!  Linfield and Whitworth are paired again because of the NCAA's inane travel rules. No offense meant to Whitworth, but I'd like to see Linfield lay another beatdown on the Pirates just to prove a team that gets trounced by 42 is probably not going to fare very well in a rematch.

C'est la vie.   On to hoops for me.
