The NCAA men's basketball regional advisory committees released their third set of rankings, and as expected, the Atlantic Region was among those getting shuffled. Here's the full list: http://www.d3hoops.com/notables/2018/02/men-regional-rankings-third

thanks for the update... doesn't mean much here... we all know it's just the winner getting in... who then goes on the road.

End of the St. Norbert MWC dynasty? Ripon with the easy win (based on the final 82-60).

I was expecting a down year for Ripon after Sabin left, but they have been very good this year! Congrats to them. I'm sure Sabin was able to hope the program in getting better recruits, build a culture and all of that other stuff that is far more important than we usually over look.

Final

Monmouth 79, Ripon 76

Great game to decide the MWC champion. Teams traded scoring runs all game and big shots down the stretch. Congrats to the Scots on their first NCAA berth in a LONG time!

Well, SNC didn't win the autobid last year, IIRC, so is this comment a year late?

That said, still on a streak of 11 consecutive appearances in the conference tourney. Ripon has the next longest current streak at six, so not sure it can be counted as a major upset. Congrats to the Red (and Monmouth) but clearly this wasn't one of best recent SNC teams. S be it.

Not at all. They were still 16-2 in conference last year and hosted. Upset in the semis, but I wouldn't have called it an end to the dynasty. This year, 14-4, 2nd place, out in the semis again, but not an upset, Ripon swept them.
