My source said the team charter left at 11AM this morning.  They practiced late last night because they had to await the Kehres' returning from NY.

I actually heard the reason they practiced at night was to prep for the cold weather. Your explanation makes more and sense.

I don't think they left this morning.  @UMUFootball Tweeted a picture, practicing in the snow, around 5:00pm today:

Mount leaves Friday morning. Departing campus at Noon on buses to airport. My source is really really good - it my faculty email. Even has the travel roster since they are to be excused from class.

Yes but last week a lot of those bad snaps can be accounted for because of a new QB under center.

--------------

errant snaps are errant snaps. it's not like poorman lines up behind a guard. it's been a problem all year but it goes unnoticed because they don't matter. until you play a team like oshkosh.

AL LOGAN stepped down at Muskingum.  Thought he did a good job under trying circumstances there.

Very difficult to win there in any sport.  I thought he did about as well as you can expect.

QuotePowell is 10-of-10 passing, Poorman 28-of-38 and Fulford 154-of-219 heading into the semifinals. All three could make the start Saturday.

Seriously Jeff, there is a chance Powell get's the start?  LOL

::)  That ought to fool 'em!

All three could start? That's a lot of quarterbacks on the field at the same time but I admire the novelty.

so i see on d3 most picked against mount.  i kinda like the underdog role!

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

I think it will be a close game, but don't think Mount Union will give up as many points as the D3 Guys are predicting.

For me, we're at the point in the tournament where tippy-top level offenses can score, even against really good defenses.   That's where we're at with this game, iyam.

Unless they revert to the gross JCU game play calling and tempo, Mount will also score more than 4 TD's on Saturday.

Nothing wrong with being the underdog. Means all the pressure is on the other team. I know LK never minded being the underdog.
I, FWIW, think Mount wins. UWO is supposedly pretty big. However; some years back, Joe Leigh (sp?), defensive line coach, said "I can get big guys on any street corner. I want guys with discipline, technique and who can learn our system". I think Mount has those guys
I hear how this will be Mount's toughest test of the season. Hey folks, this will also be Oshkosh's biggest test of their season.
I favor the Raiders because: the old chip on the shoulder from last season, best receiving corps in Dlll, speed and at the risk of sounding arrogant, they are Mount Union!.
All you Mount haters, or just dislikers, don't bother jumping all over me for that statement. I don't really care! Look at past records. Doesn't mean much for now, but still, THIS IS MOUNT UNION,
Go Purple Raiders. Won't be easy but you've done this before. Get 'em!
