After watching the Bowdoin- Amherst game last weekend, nobody from Amherst should complain about the officiating. Last weekend, was borderline ridiculous . I believe it was 8-1 fouls near end of the game and Bowdoin was clearly hammered on many different possesions late in the game. Great season by all the Nescac teams.  The best two teams play for the Championship tomorrow. Hope to a See Nescac team in Final Four again. ( or two)  🙂

Thank you for the responses. Yes, he is first team all league both soph and jr years.  2nd team all area.  He played some of the spring ( was hurt) and the summer with a NY aau team and did well.  He didnt start thou and was not high scorer at all like on his high school team.  He was a role player on Aau team , which is fine.  He has been in contact with some schools and has options, but was not asked to do ED at any of them. He is a good student and is applying to 3 or 4 nescac schools.  We will hit them with tapes   I guess its worth a shot. Thanks again.   Another note, the response from coaches has been horrible   Wheter it be nescac , centinnenial or the liberty. My son or his coach would reach out and not hear anything.  Finally, he would get response weeks later. Maybe they are just busy, have no interest or just don't care but was odd.  At the end of the day, i think i should have been more proactive in the process.

Question on recruiting - for Nescac or any other d3 program- is it too late if my son has not picked a school yet or are schools still looking ?  I see a lot of posts of kids that have gone ED. I know  the nescac does alot of ED , but wondering if there is still time.  For instance, would a clip of his first six or seven games be of interest to a coach or would it be a waste of time.  Thanks in advance.

I agree using the honest ,straight forward approach is best.  He should find out in next week or two. The ED date is nov 1 and this all came pretty fast.   I was asking what to say to these schools between now and nov 15 or whenever he hears on ED    Does he tell them that he has applied ED somewhere?

Question on recruiting . Son was asked to do ED by coach at a high academic school. In this case, he has been give no gaurantees, just that they are going to support his application etc. he is going forward with it.   He also has others schools interested in him. Some also asked him to do ED.  Question is- what is best way or what does he say to others schools on his list and these coaches that he has been communicating with over the last year or so.  Any advice appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for advice. One other thing we noticed was the fact that he is competing  with post grads  and kids that have re- classified. I guess it is common on the d-1 level, but starting to see it with kids trying to go to nescac schools   Anyway, he has alot of interest from different d3 schools, just not the ones he wanted. At the end , he will end up at a good academic school and play (hopefully)  :)

Thank you.   One school asked for grades and test scores for a pre read and told him- stay tuned., we are considering you , but others are ahead of you.  Thanks for the response.

Recruiting- new to forum.  Quick question- my son is a senior and did the whole AAU circut this summer.  He has received a decent amount of interest, but it has quieted down dramatically since mid august.  Is it too late to hear from any NESCAC school. Do you think they are filled up for the class of 2015?  Thanks in advance for any insight.
