Just wanted to take the opportunity in this off season to give a shout out to Del Val's outstanding Sport's Information Director, Matt Levy and our Women's coaching staff headed by Laura Hogan.  In spite of our lousy winter weather the last two seasons, everything has gone off without a hitch, although I know some of their outings had to have been a bit dicey.  We didn't make nearly the number of games that we usually do, and none in Wilkes Barre  :-[.  At any rate, the games we did attend were top notch, win or lose and we thank you for a great season!  Looking forward to 2015/16!

Love those two Wilkes Barre schools, in addition to King's, Wilkes University has their 2015/16 schedule up on their site!

FDU should be official soon. Waiting on formal announcement for the big opener....

Del Val has their 15/16 schedule up (thanks Matt) - busy day, didn't check on anyone else.  I'll check tomorrow.

July 7th - schedules still missing, DeSales, Eastern (they have an excuse, newly named coach), FDU and Manhattanville.  On their respective pages, DVU, King's, Misericordia and Wilkes.  Del Val opens with a single game with Rowan on Nov. 18th, then that weekend we're in Muhlenberg's Opening Tourney, playing Cortland State on Friday at 1 p.m.  Would you believe we're really looking forward to that!  ;)

I talked with DeSales HC Richter yesterday about his schedule since Scranton is in his season opening tourney, according to Scranton's schedule; he seemed unaware that it wasn't posted yet on DeSales' web site. He said the Royals will be playing The College of New Jersey and DeSales will be playing Widener.

kate

O.K., Thank you, Ronk!  Now, something else to look forward to - we can see you guys plus our second favorite coach, Alisa Kintner and her Widener Pride!  As previously mentioned, our game isn't until Friday, the 20th!  That's precisely why schedules up are so important!  Thanks, again!

All,

Sorry for the earlier tease about the schedule. Glad I didn't leak it, because it fell through. :P

A company was going to sponsor a 3 game event in Indianapolis, a D1, D2, D3 game....but the two D1's couldn't come to an agreement, so the whole thing fell through. We WERE going to be playing Thomas More on November 14, but alas, no longer.

Would have been fun.

FDU has their schedule up!  Still not here, DeSales, Eastern and Manhattanville.

While we're waiting on here for DeSale's, Eastern and Manhattanville to let us know where they're playing in four months, here's some good news.  Sondrine Glovas has been named the new head coach of Wilson Area High School Lady Warriors, her alma mater!  She was a stand out player for DeSale's graduating in 2014.  While she's the youngest girl's b'ball coach in the area, the Express-Times also mentioned that she's got the most buckets on her resume!  Good luck, coach!!!

Just noticed on the Men's board that DeSales was in search of an opening tournament for this year!!!  Obviously the reason that the Bull Dogs' men's' and women's schedules aren't up yet.  Good luck - the season's right around the corner - Eastern, Manhattanville - where are you???
