Caz Bombers

strange to see Cortland with more losses than wins ever, although it's still early. Are they down or will they just start trucking NY teams like usual?

airball55

Caz...they should be ok but the past couple years the other NY teams have started to catch up a bit.  Especially Oswego of course but there are 4-6 legit NCAA teams in the region and Cortland will be challenged a bit more than usual.  Most likely either a first or second place finish in the YAC...they will need to take care of business a bit more than usual.  30 wins is the norm for the Dragons...and they will have to breath a lot of fire to get there this time around.  The fielding percentage is astoundingly low for them.  .266 batting average but that will go up against the YAC bottom feeders and some of the non conference teams they scheduled.  25-27 wins and on the edge going into the tournament is a good bet for this years team.  But they can still pitch pretty darn well and that keeps them in any game.
