Women's soccer / Women's World Cup 2015 - Canada
June 07, 2015, 07:50:22 PM
Ill start the ball rolling....please comment!
Should we just call it now....Germany 10 -Ivory Coast 0.....The Germans look dominant.  I think its going to be hard for the Americans to compete with that.  We're an aging team that still relies on serving the ball to Abby Wambach.  The final warmup game showed how one-dimensional we've become.  I hope I'm wrong, but USA has its work cut out.  Sweeden is sure to give the USA fits.

Thoughts?

Women's soccer / Women's OAC 2013
June 26, 2013, 07:40:58 PM
Most of the OAC schools have posted their fall schedules and just a few observations waiting in a spare moment... First, the schedules' highlights:

OHIO NORTHERN: 8/30 Kalamazoo (11-6-2) Hanover (13-4-2) 9/7 Carnegie and 9/8 Allegheny, 9/14 OWU

JOHN CARROLL  8/31 Thomas Moore, Alleghany 9/4, OWU 9/11, Centre 9/14, Grove City 9/21

CAPITAL  Not yet posted.  Crusader Nation, have any insights?

Baldwin Wallace Carnegie 9/1, Virginia Wesleyan 9/8 Case Western 9/18

  • ONU and JCU seem to have a challenging early schedule, facing lots of nationally and regionally ranked teams.  Every year the OAC schedule gets upgraded.  This year,  the top teams look to have a strength of schedule that could stand up to any conference.  Here's hoping they show well.

  • This is the most seasoned JCU team in years with lots of veteran depth.  Some players are returning from injury as well.  ONU also has a lot of veteran depth.  Its my understanding that the Crusaders are getting back some injured stars as well.

I know its early,  just thought I'd get the ball rolling.....
