Cortland grabs fourth win five starts with 11-6 win at Randolph Macon in Ashland VA. RDragons  quite meek early, falling behind 2-0 in the first inning as lefty P. Merryweather struggles (1inn, 5h, 2r, 2er). Hosts' fr righty starter M. Nickles faces just 10 Cortlanders over three innings, striking out five. But in the CSt fourth J. Massa pinch-hits grand slam and M. Mihalski single adds fifth run. Cortland ahead thereafter with M. Personius delivering solo hr in the ninth. Personius, J. Teague, Massa, S. Figueroa with two hits apiece. Corts with 11 hits, three errors and deploy six pitchers. P. Boice (3inn, 1h, 2bb, 1k) in relief of Merryweather, and R. Smith (3.1inn, 1h, 1r, 1k) the most effective. Oswego divides doubleheader with Wesley in Dover DE, winning 7-2 but slipping 4-3 in a pair of seven inning tilts.
   The first game sees Laker E. Hamilton 2x4, 2r, 3bi and opening the scoring in the first with rbi double. Scores on J. Barnes sf. W. Randall second inning rbi single makes it 3-0. Hamilton clubs two-run homer in the fifth and M. Kutscher solo blast in the seventh. Kutscher and L. Olsson with two hits each as Lakers amass 12. New Paltz loses 6-0 at Johns Hopkins whose Blue Jays hold 4-0 edge after five frames. Hawks with six hits, one error and 12 strikeouts. R. Votypka absorbs the loss in four innings of work (4h, 3r, 3er, 3bb, 5k). New Paltz 1-2 while Hopkins goes to 2-1 including Saturday 3-2 win and 5-2 loss to St. John Fisher

Oneonta 11-2 and 7-5 victims of Dickinson PA in doubleheader action in Flemington NJ. Season opener for both.
   In the first outing Dickinson takes the lead with four runs in the first inning and goes on to rake RDragon pitchers for 17 hits. OSt manages seven hits. C. Saitch 2x4, bi. T. Bond starts (3.1inn, 7h, 9r, 6er, 0bb, 1k). RJ Lyman follows (4.2inn, 10h, 2r, 2er, 2bb, 5k)
   Second game finds the longball to be Oneonta undoing. After just taking 5-4 lead in the bottom of the eighth on B. LaVenture rbi double, he takes the RDragon mound in the ninth and gives up one-out two-run homer and two-out solo roundtripper in his only pitching inning. Dickinson slugs three home runs among 12 hits. Oneonta gets eight hits, B. Torres and C. Saitch two apiece. N. Ponesse tosses OSt first 4.1 innings (4h, 4r, 4er, 2bb, 2k). J. McCarty pitches 3.2 scoreless innings. Oneonta fields flawlessly. Dickinson with four errors
