What’s the ticket situation at Wartburg? Are there pre-sale tickets required or will showing up Saturday be sufficient?

Showing up Saturday will be sufficient. There will be ticket sales @ the stadium.

Thank you. Looking forward to catching the game.

The person selling ad reads at St. John’s must be working overtime these days.

Still can't get the game on a big screen. Watching on my phone.
The way we've played today that will have to do.

If you have an ad-blocker turned on you need to disable it. That worked for me.

One coach listed on their site right now. Sucks to see it go and I wonder what will happen to the rest of the SCIAC.

And that has what to do with this year?

I responded to your snark. If you want to talk ****, then that’s fine with me.

Impartial party here, but I think the term “calling off the dogs” was referring to taking starters out and just riding out the time in the game. Don’t think it was anything other than a comment about this specific game.

Not every day you see a 54 yard FG at the d3 level but the kicker from CMS has a hell of a leg on him. On another note, they really should turn off microphones if they aren’t going to have any play by play.

No sir.  He is not dating a cheerleader.  Why do you ask?

Old inside joke here. Just messing with you.

This gave me a good chuckle. Old Snoop is a legend around these parts for all the wrong reasons.

I’m not surprised they are going with turf. Low maintenance and less schedule shuffling. The University of Tampa is doing the same thing right now and should be a huge upgrade.

Oddly there is very little officially being reported (and nothing on the TU athletics site), here is a tweet from the supporter Twitter account showing the construction.  They’ve taken out the field, I do hope they’re not going to turf.

Thanks, Ron. Will be interested to see how it all turns out.

After Rafe Chaumette used his extra COVID year at Boston College last season, several others will also be taking their talents to Division I this season:

3B/1B MJ Metz (.382 BA, 12 HR, .992 Fld %) - Duke, where he will also seek a MBA.  Metz led Trinity in BA, RS, RBI, 2B last season.
LHP Samuel Conte (15 APP/12 S, 4-3, 4.27 ERA, .237 OBA) - Charlotte
RHP Corey Cater (14 APP/6 S, 3-4, 7.31 ERA, .289 OBA) - Kansas State

It also appears that Brian Schaub, who transferred from Richmond to Trinity for the 2020-21 season and led the team in HRs the last two years, will be playing next year at D1 Bryant University per his Twitter headline (no explicit announcement).

Looks like a rebuilding year upcoming for the Tigers, who at least will have a spanking new facility to play in after the old one was totally torn down in the offseason.

Any links to info about the new park? Would love to see what they are doing.

ECSU losing Hamm to Yale. Heck of a way to finish off your tenure at a school.

Anybody over here know why NY state received 3 NCAA Regionals and New England none. New England teams had to travel hundreds of miles while Courtland, Brockport, U Rochester played home games???!!!  Personally thought the U of Rochester facility and broadcast was mediocre, and wonder how they picked it?

Could be worse…three SCIAC teams that played in the conference tourney last week went straight back to the same spot and played the regional. I realize the West teams are on an island, but that just plain sucks.

If I remember Trinity can't  host since they don't have a press box.
The inside joke in Trinity recruiting was Coach Fregosi*  telling recruits they would play in the new stadium....ha ha ha ha ha...
* recruiting coach who recruited the CWS team...still waiting coach :)

I didn’t realize Trinity didn’t have a press box. I figure the regional will likely be up at UT-Dallas. I have no clue who will be going where but I would hate to see conference teams matched up.
