Guess I was disagreeing with Oval and Ralph's picks for the 4x100 based on a time run this past weekend by Mount Union. While McMurry has a respectible time as well, it's a month old. My money is on the guys running fast now.

Gotta disagree with any list that doesn't show Mount Union's 4x100 team given their time is from this past weekend.

I don't know if the schedules of other schools take them deeper into May than Mount but it seems to be asking alot of students to extend their school year that much.
I realize what you mean, but I don't think it's that big a deal for anyone who has spent the time these guys have to get to this point. After all, football players have to show up a month before school just to make the team. These guys are sticking around for a chance at conference and national honors.

Looks like the 4x100 at National is shaping up to be the greatest 40 seconds (or less) in D3 athletics this year.

Pretty impressive how many McMurry and Lincoln athletes that are at or near the AQ for their events and it's not even really outdoor season in most of America yet. Got a 7' 1/4" high jump  in the books

It's one of the great things about T&F, that a team is whoever you have. no requirement to fill three deep in every event. The top six teams on the men's side included three bigger school and three smaller schools.
