I'm thinking that when Trevor was hired as Scranton's WBB that he was Miseri's MBB HC, had never coached women, and probably never would have thought of applying for the Scranton women's position unless his former AD broached the possibility. But I could be wrong.
As Saratoga pointed out, this statement couldn't be more wrong.

It could be more wrong.  Ronk could have said he was Marywood's Assistant coach and had coached women all his life.  ;D

That would be a different statement.

Keystone does have a former player in the original class of the baseball HOF; so they are a "blue-blood" in that sense.  ::)
Maybe his boyhood home of Factoryville is their 'landmark.'

Keystone is now an associate member of Landmark for Football, FYI.

Who woulda thunk?

Please delete that post before Saratoga sees it.

Lefty, my point - why doesn't the landmark go after the likes of Muhlenberg, or others in the Centennial League?   Why keep hitting on the MAC?   What's wrong with the Colonial League?   The MAC has been decimated enough.     And i certainly remember when our MAC was intact, and Lycoming played Moravian, Juniata and Susquehanna.   We've followed the MAC since the '97, '98 season.   Has the landmark thought about wrestling?   Long road trips ahead for those student athletes and as i've said many times, a depleted fanbase, except, of course for each individual school.   Fortunately, Scranton fans will always feel that they're the best, just as i feel that Del Val is - the others, who knows.   For the sake of d3 sports, i wish them the best, but those teams that have left the MAC, i've pretty much lost complete interest in them.
Kate,
My point is that it works both ways and it will continue to work both ways.  The MAC has been around for more than 100 years and has many different membership variations.  Every school does what they think is best for them.

For what it's worth, half of the current MAC membership (more than half once Wilkes/Lyco depart) has joined the conference within the last 15-20 years.

They were all 'pilfered' from somewhere.

That was probably the most complete game by a Royals team against a decent team in at least the past 10 years.
The inside/out game was firing all night, some pretty good defense, rebounding, assists & more dunks than a Globetrotters game.
If Danzig & crew can bottle this one for future use, they may be on to something.

It appears that Saratoga's account has been hacked.

I think d3jason qualifies as a Wesley guy.

"if most of the Wesley guys have left the board" not "if ALL of the Wesley guys have left the board"

Lefty, pay attention. Life is all about the details!! ;)

Spare me the lecture.

I didn't quote you or correct you.

All I said was that d3jason was a Wesley guy.

The 1-6 winner plays the 3-4 loser in the second round.

Credit where credit is due...
Nice turnaround by the Royals today vs. Drew.
Actually played D, boxed out underneath & stopped firing up crazy 3 pointers every chance they could.
Ball movement was great the first 33 minutes.
Baby steps.

Who are you and what have you done with Saratoga?   :)

Ryan,
A reasonable point, but I don't think a zone even with little practice would have been less effective than their man defense was tonight; they also allowed 15 offensive rebounds.
Drew's Newman looks like a ROY.

Practice?  Are you talkin' about practice?

These posters didn't have any practice and they seem to be in mid-season form.
