The World Championship of American football website is http://wc2007.info/index_e.html.

Congrats to Josh Kubiak on making the team, glad to see he will get to play again since he did not get to finish the Wesley game due to injury.

Go CRU

Way to go ASC, number 2 in total attendance. Good job by Mississippi Co leading the way for the conference.

After talking with someone who interviewed the President of UMHB, they are not going to change the mascot from the Crusaders. They are just going to embrace the term "The Cru" and use it as a marketing tool, and still use the Crusader name as well.

Good game for Crusader Hunter Hamrick in the Texas vs. The Nation game, punting 3 times for an average of 41.6 and a long of 48 yards. Too bad The Nation team won the game 24-20.

LACrusaderFan, I don't know anything for certain but rumors are going around campus that we are going to change to The Cru. I wish the NCAA would focus on more on important things and not always trying to be political correct.

Hello ASC readers, I have a question for those who post on the Daily Dose site? I just tried to post and it says my message is awaiting moderation? What does that mean, is it because I just registered and someone has to accept me or something?

billybaroo, about the texas vs. the nation all star where did you see the information about josh kubiak. i have seen hunter hamrick of umhb on the roster but can't find anything about kubiak?

also congrats to Derek Farney of Trinity (Texas) of being invited to the game.

very good point sender about how a playoff system would most likely kill any chance of non D1 schools getting on TV. That alone is reason enough for me to not endorse a playoff system for D1.

I know that the BCS is flawed to say the least, but one point brought by someone on ESPN is that it has at least given teams like Boise State the chance to play in a big game. 20 years ago Oklahoma or most other big time programs would have never played a small program, they would have played another big program and all of the school like Boise would have been left little to nothing.

very true, gray fox.

for all of us ASC fans I hope that Coppell can come up with the money to get the game. I know I would attend no matter who is in the game if it was in Texas, but especially if the Crusaders were playing.

that would be awesome if the Stagg Bowl could be in Coppell, but is there really a chance for it to happen. Like the article said most D3 schools are located somewhat close to Salem and not really close at all to Texas.

great news for jerrell freeman, but where is kubiak on that list. he deserved to go out as an all-american.

another question is how does elliot barcak not get listed on any of the ASC all-conference teams and then get on the all-region first team. there must be a reason, but i don't see how the conference overlooked him completely.

Yeah he was the player that was hurt at the game, I am not sure the the exact injury but the UMHB website said that because of his "severe knee injury" he will not be able to play.

Also, I was wondering how many posters were at the Wesley game? I was going to post before leaving for the game to possibly meet some of yall, but lost track of time. If you were there I am sure you saw me in the vistors section, because I was the only one  with body paint covering a large percentage of my body.
