Does Trinity post video of the press conferences after playoff games?

The issue of a lighted field can be handled on a case by case basis.
I think it's also about the consistency of the experience/toll for travel across teams. If everyone has a noon local start, you get some staggering just due to time zones. But no team is being asked to finish a game 6 pm, talk to the media, shower, load up, eat, and drive home. That sounds like a small thing, but attrition, staying healthy, and the ability to treat players is a big part of continuing to advance. I think some of this is probably meant to ensure that there's an equal footing for all teams when it comes to travel details.
The LSC already has 10 football members, so 11 including Sul Ross. Would there even be room for more teams? Just looking at the LSC football website, they haven't had more than 10 teams going back at least 10 years.
Man it is going to be a chilly day for football Saturday in Texas. High of 46 and wet in San Antonio, about the same but drier in Belton.Guess I'm wearing leggings under the kilt!Worse game I remember weather wise was North Carolina Wesleyan coming to Belton in 2007, before Crusader Stadium with no cold weather gear. it was raining and sleeting with wind. Temps in the 40s. Those boys were sufferingMan it is going to be a chilly day for football Saturday in Texas. This is a big issue and not just for football. Conference leadership hasn't addressed it at all either!
You would think that if the Sul Ross vote to D2 goes through that they will have to. If there is no ASC football that might also convince UMHB to move to D2/D1 FCS, HSU to finally think about a move to the SCAC, and who knows what other dominoes could fall absent some sort of statement from the conference.
I'll self report it was me. I believe I may have flipped them a few times this season though. It boiled down to a few things for me. 10-0 vs 9-1. I thought both teams played one solid performer OOC. I know an argument can be made in UMHB favor since they went on the road to play UWW and lost a very close game. There was also the common opponent of Sul Ross and Trinity won 55-7 as opposed to UMHB win 45-14. If I could I would rank the teams like this:
1. Trinity/UMHB
3. H-S/Huntingdon/Randy-Mac
6. Bridgewater
7. Berry/HP/Shenandoah
But I know that is not the nature of ranking since it is a black and white thing. I hope for Huntingdon's (gotta rep the conference) sake I am wrong but I would think there will be an opportunity to settle the 1 vs 2 in the region on the field in week 2 of the playoffs. This is also assuming that Trinity beats H-S which will not be a given. I think it has been stated in other posts in different threads/boards but that lower right bracket is absolutely brutal
Trinity reclaims the uncontested #1 spot in the poll. Bridgewater and Howard Payne fill in the bottom two spots as B-SC and Belhaven dropped out. With the playoffs upon us, we will not do another poll until their is only one Region 3 team still standing.
Games still on tap:
Bridgewater plays Apprentice in the ODAC's bowl game
Trinity hosts Hardin-Simmons in Rd1
UMHB hosts Huntingdon in Rd1
R-MC hosts Cortland in Rd1
I want to thank our voters once again. They have done an incredible job of getting ballots in to me well before time. This is the first week I'm posting on Tuesday, and that's because I was out of pocket yesterday. Good luck in the playoffs to our Region 3 teams and thanks to all the student athletes that allow us to have our fun in this little corner of the internet.Region 3 (South Atlantic-Ish) Fan Poll Week 8Conferences: ASC, ODAC, SAA, USASAC

So yes, warning was given about the band.
Still boggles that if the warning was given in the first quarter why they let it continue that long as well as letting the Howard Payne band play through entire possessions. Maybe because their band was sad and only had a few people in it?
May depend if anything ever happens with A&M absorbing them into one their colleges. Recall some noise a while back where a senator was making a push for that. Maybe it was someone else but I thought it was SRSU. State money is different that private schools.
Thanks, now I am catching it. I would agree that I would love to see some creativity with the island teams but not holding my breath.
Granted this is for fun, nicely presented and a good job to gauge projections for all of us fans, but you’re right...
That would essentially be the following from the latest D3FB rankings unless the home team isn’t depicted correctly:
NR @ 4
5 @ 7
3 @ 21
8 @ 6
Even furthermore the #21 played the #4 in a seven point game already this year. Pretty nuts to think that this is a possibility and whoever makes it out of that leg still has two more Ws to pick up just to be crowned “champion”
Does anyone know if HSUs QB is coming back next year? Not sure with all the extra years COVID gave everyone.
Also, has anyone heard the rumor that Sul Ross got the invite to D2s Lone Star Conference?
Any comments on the penalty drawn by the UMHB band? All I heard was it was bizarre.
They were playing up until the snap pretty loudly. Technically a penalty but one that they hadn't been enforcing all game and hadn't warned either team of that I saw. There were multiple possessions where UMHB was on offense and HPU's band didn't even stop while the ball was in play. I'll admit, I'm as big of a UMHB homer as there is, but it was one of a long string of questionable calls in my opinion. There was a missed punch thrown by a defensive lineman of Howard Payne on one of the first plays of the game as well. I think the "touchdown" that was called a few plays later was worse...
Was called a touchdown by Howard Payne by the referee behind the play. Here is the video:

Week 10 WAY TOO EARLY (BASED ON 1st RANKINGS) Unofficial DIII Bracketology
Thanks for putting in the work to do this, fun to prognosticate on this stuff.
FWIW, if these were the actual teams selected (I'm sure there will be some surprises Saturday), I hope the committee does something different than this projected bracket. The "West" bracket is insanely top heavy and deep IMO. I know budget handcuffs this some, but I'd love to see some creativity to balance things a little more than this.
Top 25 dispersion of this projection:
"West": 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
"East": 2, 12, 13, 19
"North": 1, 9, 10, 15, 20
"South": 11, 14, 17, 18
Top 25 has no technical bearing on who makes the playoffs or how brackets are constructed, but to have 6 of the current Top 10 in one quad is tough to swallow. The South is glaringly shallow and lacks any elite teams in the current construction (not that I'm proposing how to fix this).
Might be missing something but how are you sorting teams into the west, south, north and south? Since UMHB, HSU and Trinity are in Region 3 I would think we would be more lumped in with the South. In the last few years UMHB has seemed to play a mix of South (Trinity, BSC, Huntingdon, Berry) and West teams (Redlands, Linfield, UWW, St. Johns), I would hope that Linfield is not forced to play any of the Texas teams in Round 1 or 2 but I guess that mainly depends on if HSU is in the fold this year.
He was talking about this bracket projection in terms of being in the same quadrant for playoffs...not necessarily region by means of determining geographic matchups
