Lone Auggie Backer,

I would guess it will be a "normal" sized crowd on Saturday 5,500-6,000. I don't know how big the Aug. fan base will be. If it is raining, perhaps a little smaller crown. Johnnie Red will be in Colorado visiting his daughter. Veek, Duffman & Finsleft are in charge of the tailgate party. If you don't have time before the game, how about just stopping by for a Hamms ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

      Lapsed, wouldn't have helped anyway
B.  My mind is like a steel trap.
Yes, but it is rusted shut.
C.  Kunze lives down the street.
Naw, just made that up to see if you would bite.
D.  You can find anything via Google
        So true, so true.

LAB aka #9- Sorry, the meat's the pregame meal. If there's one left over I'll bring it into the game with me. If you hear a thud on your helmet, look around the turf for your burger.

Good luck Saturday.

Great to see TDT is keeping cool in the warm Florida sun!

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Aug98- the SJU game notes (which don't necessarily mean anything) say that MLV is starting QB.  What gives?

I don't understand why two Auggie players(ok well maybe it's just one but still) are building themselves up about the game on this board.  Guys isn't this the kind of stuff players dream about in the locker room and all the guys thinks it going to happen and gets pumped up till the opening kickoff actually happens?

FYI, this is  ripped off and improved upon from the IIAC board. Initial credit goes to a writer at the Cedar Rapids Gazette. There's usualy one of these every year, but there always a bit of fun :

St. Olaf beats Luther, which beats Wartburg . . .  Coe, Central, Augustana (Ill), Catholic, La Salle, St. Francis (PA), Central Conn. St, Colgate, UMass, Rhode Island, William and Mary, New Hampshire, UC-Davis,  Stanford, Navy, Air Force, SDSU, BYU, New Mexico, Missouri, ISU, Iowa.

So is this saying the Oles would beat Iowa? The Johnnies are good, but I don't think they could beat Iowa.  ;D

Naw, it's just bait to see if AO will claim that Northwestern can hang with the Hawkeyes until halftime ...

I laughed out loud when I read this one, Fins.  An additional karma point for you!

Duff, aren't you still bringing a charcoal grill, too?
Go Johnnies!!!
