Great news, does anyone know if the other MIAA teams add the sport?

Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

OWU is supposed to start there first Varsity year in wrestling. However we have heard nothing since Reid was named coach. I had hoped we at least see a schedule. I am still hopeful that they will start this year.

Edit: They show up in teh regional alignment for nwca: https://www.d3wrestle.com/regional-alignment-presented-at-nwca-convention-today/

No roster yet for OWU, However a schedule has been posted. If you want to find the battling bishops it will have to be on the road.

Olivet College won the first ever MIAA dual held at Cutler Student Event Center, besting Trine 35-9. Olivet had a pin from Cole Hersch at 157 and a tech fall from Tyler Grimsley at 165. It was a good atmosphere at Cutler, with fans clearly enjoying the return of MIAA competition. The Comets will have to go on the road to Alma and Adrian to finish off the MIAA season and try win the first MIAA title awarded since 1984, when they won the conference in its final year.

Owu wrestling preview
https://battlingbishops.com/news/2018/10/31/WRE_201819pre_1.aspx

I think they are having a decent season for the first year. I do think that they hired the right guy who has a record of turning around programs and being at the head of transition years.

Thanks. I agree. I know at least one of the wrestlers. My youngest wrestled against him in HS. I really like what the coach has done so far, and the message he is espousing.  He is the only coach listed. I hope they add some coaches, even if they are volunteer assistants.
