Great points Crash. However, the lack of an invite to the regional does not take away from a great season. Linfield is a deserving champion, and put their foot on the gas pedal at just the right time. PLU had a couple close games in the last three against the Wildcats that could have gone either way.
Still, it was a great season, with a few long undefeated stretches. Two tough weekends cost them the bid. Those kinds of ups and downs are what makes baseball so enjoyable and exasperating.
