North Central 69
Adrian 54

Too much D from NCC for Adrian's liking, as the Bulldogs only shot .315 from the field. Their two 20-point-averaging superstars, Jordan Harris and Jeremy Kalonji, combined for only 10-35 from the field. That's your ballgame, right there.

Sounds like the NCAA has put the muzzle on Lucas's trademark "Three!" call.

That takes a little bit of fun out of the airplane hangar experience.

Damn neutrality rules!

(Last year when we hosted I considered doing it for both teams... but figured that be pushing the boundaries a little bit and would also be weird to do for the road team as well as us.) I can play nice when I have to. :P

Congrats to Coach Baines and the EC team for advancing to the round of 32.  Keep going.  Get to the second weekend.

EC will play Grove City, who beat hosts Wooster 67-62. In the post-game presser, Baines described Grove City as a big and physical team, not unlike Carroll.

Titan Q

If the next round is Elmhurst vs Emory...

I assume that is in Atlanta?

Selection Sunday Resumes
* Emory: .840/.562/6-1 (South #2)
* Elmhurst: .821/.546/4-2 (Central #2)

Seems likely regardless of the state of the Faganel floor. (Apologies in advance if I've missed any further update about that.)

Agree...seems like Emory would be the higher seed there.

Elmhurst with another easy romp in Wooster, OH, this one an 84-66 triumph over Grove City. Jake Rhode went off for 33 points, while Derek Dotlich contributed 15 and Lavon Thomas had an 11 and 10 double-double.

This is the first time Elmhurst has won twice in the national tournament.
