Are the NCAA rankings strictly based on a mathematical formula?
The data sheet seems to lay out numeric factors, but it doesn't take the next step and rank the teams based on the numbers.  How do they end up ranking the teams?

The data sheets are a year old. Both the dates show 2010 and the data form my daughters school is a year old.

I think the data sheets are current now, but until the final NCAA numbers are out in a couple of weeks I am not sure what they really mean.  I think this weekend I will find a local sports bar, sit at the bar, order a beer and bump and say "so, how about those NCAA Women's Soccer Regional Rankings."  It's a hard way to pick a fight but I will see what I can do. ;)
