By this point in most seasons, the usual names appear at the top of conferences races and conversations surround the usual suspects. Not the case this year. There are new names at the top, or in the mix, of conferences around the country.

That excitement is what is driving the 2017-18 season and makes any night in Division III must-watch.

On Sunday's episode of Hoopsville, Dave talks to some new face leading or in the mix in their respective conferences from four or the regions around the country. Can these teams keep their success through the end of the season or has the challenge just gotten that much more difficult as the second half of conference schedules begins.

There is also some Top 25 discussion to be had. Ryan Scott makes his weekly appearance in "Top 25 Double-take."

Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCA/NABC Studio. You can watch the show LIVE starting at 7:00 p.m. ET right here: http://bit.ly/2DnzrgG.

A reminder that Sunday shows tend to focus on the Northeast, Atlantic, South, and Central regions primarily.

If you have questions, feel free to interact witht he show (information to the right) or send an email (hoopsville@d3hoops.com) and maybe have your question be featured on the Hoopsville Mailbag segment.

Guests include (in order of appearance):
- Rusty Rogers, Concordia-Chicago women's coach
- Adam Stockwell, No. 14 Hamilton men's coach
- Katie Pearson, Cabrini women's coach
- David Smith, Methodist men's coach
- Ryan Scott, "Top 25 Double-take"

Nice victory on senior day. With the win the Lady Cavs have clinched the number 1 seed and homecourt throughout the CSAC playoffs. #2 seed will be either Gwynedd or Neumann. GM heads to Neumann Wednesday night. Winner is the #2 seed and will get a bye. Marywood, Rosemont and Centenary are the other 3 teams in the playoffs. Now just a matter of seeding.

Wow! Lady Cavs won both games since last RR's and lose 2 spots in rankings. Their SOS is taking a beating. I only see it going down the rest of the regular season. Have to win bid to get in.

Not sure it will keep going down. If they play the top teams in the conference tournament, it will trickle back up, actually.

Well Dave, when the next regional rankings come out it will be at the end of the regular season and their SOS will fall further. Considering that Immaculata's record is 7-18 and Clark Summit's will be 1-24 after Saturday it will drop the rest of the Regular Season:D Now I'm sure it will trickle back up after the CSAC tournament. Here's hoping.  :D
