Brockport (3 Left) - Oneonta (3)
Oneonta (6 Left) - Cortland (3), Brockport (3)
Plattsburgh (3 Left) - Oswego (3)
Oswego (6 Left) - Plattsburgh (3), Fredonia (3)
New Paltz (6 Left) - Cortland (3),Fredonia (3)
Fredonia (6 Left) - New Paltz (3), Oswego (3)

Looks like Cortland will be the #1 again. Also looks like Fredonia and New Paltz are out.  That leaves 4 teams for three spots. 9 wins usually gets you in and you have to assume that Brockport gets at least one against Oneonta so they are in.  Leaves Oneonta, Oswego and the Cardinals all fighting for two spots.  Oneonta needs 2 out of 6 to get to the 9 win mark but they have the toughest schedule left still having to play Cortland and Brockport. Oswego has three against bottom feeder Fredonia and a huge series against Plattsburgh.

PREDICTION: Cortland the #1, Brockport the #2, Oneonta the #3 (Tie-Breaker over Plattsburgh) and Plattsburgh the #4.

NOT NECESSARILY. We have some crazy games coming up this next weekend. Oswego plays tomorrow vs Plattsburgh and needs to win that to go 7-8. Which leaves Plattsburgh at 8-10 and done for SUNYAC play. Oneonta is 7-8 and has to go to Brockport and needs to win at least 1 of 3 to finish 8-10 and have the tie breaker over Plattsburgh since they beat them 2-1 in the series head to head. For Fredonia to make the 4th and final spot since they lost to plattsburgh 2-1 in the head to head this year, they need Oneonta to lose 2 out of 3 to finish 8-10 and they have the tiebreaker over them.

You think Cortland is lacking this year? Or just beginning of the season rustiness?

SUNYAC will be good this year. Lotta seniors graduated...it will be nice to see the young guns show what talent they have. Again I look forward to this powerhouse conference.... New Paltz, Fredonia and Brockport...nothing but Young Guns.

Cortland is just too good every year still don't know why there in SUNYAC really. However they are a lot weaker than usual this year... obviously because they lost some big names...anderson, nikiel's, dimino's and of course now simone. However they are still going to be solid and contenders...because they are cortland. Oneonta beat cortland twice because of one word and that is "Filak" Oneonta was weak 2 years ago and idk how good these transfers are but we will see i guess. Plattsburgh ranked in top 25... is definately a joke. I think they are scrimmaging St. Mary's for the Blind in the beginning of March as well. (kidding) But P-burgh should not be there i'm sorry at least someone who  actually accomplished stuff last year for example fisher did pretty darn good and several others as well. Sunyac seems up in the air this year really..new paltz with some good pitching still, fredonia always having a good hitting every year, brockport won the darn sunyac title (of course with some help of mother nature and some bi laws) I think this year is going to be a full start to finish one game season near the end especially with the new conference weekend formats. Go Team

What do you guys think about the new conference schedules for SUNYAC? Best of 3 series now on Fridays and Saturdays...instead of doubleheaders on saturday and sunday. I think it's better because of the BS tiebreakers at the end of the year because the competition is so good other than the always winning team of Cortland everyone else always splits.

I think Cortland is going to lock up the #1 spot and hosting, no question of course... plattsburgh, oneonta and fredonia. I'm going to go with a long shot here because I always like to pick the underdogs. Fredonia needs to win out in order to make it, and with them hosting Brockport and hosting New Paltz, on 2 separate weekends means they get to throw their number 1 and 2 each weekend so thats a huge plus. They also got their bats going against plattsburgh once again so that will make them more of a contender, however their fielding is questionable with dropped balls and errors. I just don't think plattsburgh's going to be able to pull one out against Cortland they looked iffy in a couple games and cortland is just red hot right now with the exception to the game against Filak so i don't see plattsburgh taking the number one spot. Oneonta will easily lock up a spot with their pitching and power hitting. Exciting weekend ahead, can't wait to see what unfolds.

Plattsburgh loses game 1 to Fredonia. It was an 8-1 blowout until the Cardinals battled back in the 9th to lose 8-7. Fredonia busted out 15 hits while P-Burgh chipped in 10 as well. Heavily offensive game.

Yea especially since they're playing Fredonia this weekend. Even thought Fredonia looked terrible this past weekend with cold bats and mediocre pitching, they are still the #1 hitting team batting average wise so it should be a decent matchup up in Plattsburgh this sunday. Perhaps Plattsburgh's a little tired and need to rejuvenate quickly to get their acts together.

Fredonia and Oswego split the DH. 2-1 Fredonia took the first game and 2-0 Oswego took the 2nd game. Horrible hitting day for both teams.

SUNYAC always comes down to one game and i bet it does again this year. it's going to be a tight division this year i can tell. Brockport, Plattsburgh ( who had an off day against Clarkson) Oneonta and even the top hitting Fredonia are all contenders against Cortland. Don't be surprised if Fredonia sneaks one by Cortland this weekend. New Paltz even has an ace this year that can get them some solid wins. Watch this close race til' the end, i guarantee ya. Brockport looks tough as usual, it'll be interesting this weekend to see how it starts out
