Is there a quality broadcast of BCs game on-line ??  feed is not good

Gutsy performance by some Eagles with serious pride today.  It always bothers me to see these kids hurt, but I guess it is part of the game.  BC's underclassmen and 3s gained some valuable experience today as their injured brothers were either out or playing hurt the entire 2nd half and most of the first.  It doesn't seem to be a toughness issue, but speed kids with knees and ankles.

I was very disappointed in the video coverage and broadcast from W&L.  No one moved the camera to keep up with the play and the stream dis-appeared at half time.  Broadcasters screamed everytime W&L gained a yard and seemed to be more interested in baseball.  Bad strategy falling at the 5 yard line, you put 6 up everytime you get the chance, especially in D3.

Bridgewater was in the VCAA ( Va Collegiate Athletic Assn.)prior to the ODAC.  I still have programs from some of those games and remember playing in the VCAA Conference golf championship my freshman year.  Glenn Goad and Chris Sizemore were all-VCAA selections in 74-75.
Matt's comments about Coach Clark are right on target. Mike's post game comments Saturday again made me proud to be his friend and a BC Alum.

I sent instructions on how to disable the siren and air horns on the fire truck that hsc points at the visiting teams bench, hope it worked,  ;D

K_Mack, did you say Yuengling????  The college and post college kids had Yuengling day on the beach this year, they said it was 3 Mile Island Water. :P

I can understand the HSC fans who have info, not posting it.  Insiders and game day assistants could post alot of stuff, but that would be unfair and classless. Until the school or ODAC has an official release from a qualified spokes-person....we hope for the best for all concerned.

It was interesting to watch the ODAC media day.  Fortunately, the coaches told you nothing about the realities of this year, as they shouldn't.  They also told you nothing about the reasons things happened the way they did last year, as they shouldn't.  Did Pat Coleman play any ball??

I got bored ( yawn ) with the mis-informed rantings from the guy from W&L,  so I have been away.  Also busy with golf tournaments, my primary job.  It gets your attention when you turn 50 and start filling out applications to a few "Senior" events and the college kids start hitting it past you, however.......can't wait for the football season and for practice to start.  Looking forward to the recruit list for all the schools.  Will be at BC for the " pre-view "

also.....

WTOP radio was reporting over the last few days that several schools, especially small schools,                (# unknown ) will not be participating the " best schools" ranking systems done by some of the major publications.  This is due to the irrelevancy of the ranking systems they use and concepts that are important to a school may not be important in a ranking system.  Any one hear about this or care ?

Other than Kid (because I know his data is right), I would like to see the posters give details, on each quote,  on where they get their data from, especially in the tuition, financial aid and school population numbers.  We used to call them footnotes and references.  Some data does not seem to match up.

I read all the debates about all school's admissions policies and standards.  Bridgewater has always been a great school.  Bridgewater has gotten much better in every phase of its operation over the last 10 years.  Some other schools have done the same.   Quality comes from the vision, support and hard work of the President of the school, it's trustees, staff and financial backers.  This applies to all departments and fortunately athletics.

It is nice to know that hsc has an EAGLE permanently displayed in its football stadium, appropriate.

Joe Freeland was inducted in to Bridgewater's Athletic Hall of Fame 2 years ago.  It is so sad to read about another HS kid getting injured or killed.

Is Lamar still standing on the side of  I-64 after the golf team kicked him off the van or did some one finally go pick him up ?

Hoping to make a Stagg bowl appearance myself, niece graduates from Radford at 1pm that day.  It will take some trickery, but I will try to make it for Llama's cooking.

Be careful at Macon with the tailgating and food, the campus police called the Sheriff's dept 2 years ago because we had Subs and coffee in the parking lot.  The Officer who showed up was a BC grad......................priceless.
