We consider ourselves fortunate 11.  I think it might be the only video in which you actually show the opposing team scoring. ;)

Seriously, I wasn't able to watch the game in person but I'll never forget the emotional ebb and flow that about 50 of us went through listening to the game at our favorite watering hole.  I was literally pacing back and forth across the room listening to the final minutes.  And when it was over and we had won the place went wild.

I remember listening to the final minutes of that game while decorating the x-mas tree in our apartment in Downers Grove (IL). The second the game ended, I immediately made plans to attend that semi-final game against Wesley. That Wesley game was my first Warhawk football game I attended since graduating three years earlier.

Absolutely the most exciting game I've ever watched.  It was an incredible scene as I was on the Cat Dome sideline that afternoon. Man - great memories!!

Hey '413

Speaking of memories, how about this highlight video of UWWs 35-27 comeback win at La Crosse in 2007. I here #33 put a pretty good "hit" on LAXs quarterback knocking him from the game late in the 4th quarter. I don't think UWL has yet fully recovered.

Great video, thanks for posting.
I remember every play. The video reminds me just how good Brandes and Wells were (and of course  Rusch).
Absolutely love it!   Donovan could really air it out with accuracy and had great receivers.

Watching this immediately takes me back!  One of the jewels in the. "Triple Crown," of best games I have ever seen after the 05 win over the Cats.  Such and amazing comeback for the boys and they never looked back after that game all the way to a National Championship, my third jewel for obvious reasons.  His QB sack and forced fumble on 3rd down, LAX's last possession, to end the game wasn't too shabby either.  ;) They were all great that last quarter and I believe it was the game where Danny, truly, became a WARHAWK.  Kleppe, #99 was a total beast the entire game!
Love strolling down memory lane!  Thanks, Voice!

When you had #33 and #50 at linebackers, it didn't get much better than that in DIII.

We severely missed that last season. We seemed to be stacked at WRs this year..hopefully the QB play will improve this Fall.

2013 should be an interesting season for Warhawk fans. From about 2007 to (part of) 2012 you guys know that I was always expressed concern that the Hawks could lose each week. But deep down I knew even if the Hawks played close to their best they were unbeatable (which they were).

However, last season changed all that. I don't see the Hawks as this unbeatable team anymore. It'll take their best effort to knock off a handfull of teams in the WIAC this year....and I'm not certain that will even be enough.

I know, I know....this breaks the hearts of the non-Warhawks fans everywhere  ;)

We'll see how it goes.

If Platteville has any defense at all they should be pretty good.  Offensively I think they're going to be able to put points on the scoreboard.

If nothing else, they have a couple of cool looking new helmet designs:

I've always thought it difficult to work with orange and blue, but I think these look good.

I like the way they look. The white helmets remind me of Boise State white helmets.
