Some info on the first round of NESCAC recruits. This information seems to have become harder to track down than it used to be, so I'm sure there are loads of others. Nice early recruiting group for Williams, which added a very smooth point guard who is quick with the ball, a bigger guard who is appears to be a three-point shooting specialist, and two big, skilled wings.
Beyond the Williams group, the most notable name here is likely Oscar Edelman to Wesleyan. Wesleyan should be loaded next season as it returns its entire rotation, including two frosh wings each with a ton of upside, other than its back-up big man, and Edelman should be able to fill in as the back-up big right away. Mitch Humphrey seems like a good fit for Colby as he's an ace three point shooter with the size to guard up a bit.

Bowdoin:
Liam McBride, 6'3 G, Deerfield

Regarding Bowdoin, I also note that Natrel Allen starting the first game (and was productive) and hasn't played since, so I assume he is injured as well.

I know it is early but does anybody know who may or may not be coming back for 5th years around the league? Seems to be a bigger deal for tufts, midd, and trinity if they can get guys like richardson or wood or other big players back.

Significant differences in the interpretation and application of banding and other NESCAC admission mechanisms and "controls" that are in the hands of each school. Far less consistent than the Ivies.

Quick-
I think Colby started Keeling and pulled him- but maybe I'm wrong. Sadly, at least from my perspective, they put Keeling, a senior, back in with about 4 minutes left trailing 35-7............Maybe his line shoulda been "Thanks Coach, do want me to win it or just tie
it up?"
I was watching/listening to the Colby play by play feed with an announcer who was the worst I have ever heard. Don't understand why these NSN announcers are not managed/trained. The NESCAC obviously pays NSN to cover games.
No excuse for a guy calling the Colby games to not know the numbers of at least the skill position guys for Colby and their opponents as well. Hell it would take about 30 minutes of preparation.
If I'm NESCAC AD and a Netcast with a totally ignorant announcer like Colby had today was going out to my parents, fans and Alums I'd have a real issue with NSN.
