Thank you Ralph.

My perception is that the Cougars had a great off-season and are gelled as a team.  How that plays out on the field will be fun to watch.  They leave tomorrow, weather permitting, for 7 games in 8 days.  I am hopeful that they can build on their positive start last weekend, going 2-1 in Indy.

Yes, CUC's slate of competition in their Florida trip looks like some traditionally strong D3 teams. Good luck to them and your son.

#20 CCIW - 64 -59 (NCC/19, Augie/23, Millikin/30)
#21 HCAC - 75 – 64 (Rose-Hulman/97, Anderson/117, Franklin/125, Hanover/134, Earlham/145)
#23 NACC - 75 – 73 ( Aurora/13, BenU/47, MSOE/65, CUW/137, CUC/139)
#38 SLIAC - 51 – 69 (Spalding/33, Webster/64)

Region 8 full conference win/loss numbers as of 3/23/23.  Massey rankings for the conferences and those teams in the top-150 noted.  CCIW looks a bit top heavy with the HCAC and NACC quite a bit more balanced.  Spalding and Webster look to have stayed teh two strongest programs in the SLIAC.  With 530 games played these numbers are likely beginning to mean something.

Related note, I am looking forward to my Cougs taking on a good Centre team in a three game set this weekend.  I am sure the boys will enjoy the weather in Kentucky more than the cold rain in Chicago.
