With that group of receivers- a team to watch for the next few years. That's the trouble with the 'Rats- they pop up as a good team every 3-5 years then disappear. For my money, Coach Tully is the 2nd best game-day coach in the NWC. Way down the list for consistent recruiting.

Bearcats 57 Pios 28---game must be about over....

So he's 24? They said on the radio that he is a freshman. I wondered if he'd been in the service, but he must be a good athlete who just wants to keep playing something.

In the grand scheme of things, it may have been good for the 'Cats to have another test this week instead of the usual blowout, looking toward the playoffs. This game is a perfect example of why you never want to leave a game early when Linfield is behind.

How in the world did the Cats give up all those points?
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Whitworth had the momentum in the first half. We couldn't get on track and had the penalties.

Giving up all those points was a test for us old guys to see if we could make it thru the game without running for the blood pressure medication.

some on big plays, some the result of turnovers (e.g. droppped the first punt of the game), and the Rats QB was pretty good when we didn't put preussure on him....

Bearcats rushed for over 360 yds on the Pios and passed for 219
Pios passed for over 330 yds but rushed for *only* 172

Pios had 1 tunrover, Bearcats had none.  Could be an interesting one next week....so should PLU vs. Willamette....
Go Cats!
