Good to hear, duffman. Old folks bones, I say. That’s where the med money is. Lots of creaky bones now days with the aging baby boomers.

Oz

When you say old folks bones, did you have anybody in particular In mind? Like maybe an old Mount Union alum, currently living in Alliance, posts as "MUC57"? Maybe it was "57Johnnie"! I mean, we are the seniors on the boards. Ah well, we can take it. G'day mate. May your boomerang return.

Duffman

You're one of the posts I always read. Best to ya with your med devices. Not sure how inclusive that is but good luck anyway. Of course, I've been retired for quite a few years but I recall some similar situations in my career. Go get 'em!

Hope you're having a better day than me. When I woke up this morning, I "forgot the Alamo". The day went downhill from there! Go Everybody!   ;D

Well, at least we know your eyesight isn’t going. :D ;D

(But in all seriousness, I wish you good health. You’re a delight on the boards.)

A sad day. It makes think fondly of Hitler Wants a Burger King.

Bruno Ganz, who played Hitler in Downfall, dies aged 77

Yes, agreed. Like Steiner hopefully he had his light bulbs and pens. So he was sorted.

I looked for the classic Burger King Hitler video with no luck. None were better, but here's another Hitler vid:

I did a good search, too, BDB and it's nowhere to be found.  I think the best Downfall video ever made has escaped the internets.  Very tough to do.

It's the Great American Race Day!

The Daytona 500 baby!

200+ mph of American horsepower.

Yet I ask myself, why isn't 7 time Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson's car sponsored by Jimmy John's?   ???   ;D

Old Auggie,

We attended the Gopher youth clinic today and picked up an autograph from your boy, Owen Webster.  I met and chatted with 2019 NCAA champ, Gable Steveson (yeah, I'm calling it).  We then watched the Gophers dismantle Indiana. Steveson is even more impressive in person!  He's so damn good.  My boy now has Steveson-signed headgear.  Fun day!

A tradition unrivaled...

Wow what a great day!! I can't see how Steveson could lose, he must be something to see in person. Did Webster wrestle today?

Is there no heavyweight close to 285 that could push Gable?  The only thing that makes me nervous is Gable looks to be about 5'11" 245.

Looks like Owen is having a tough year, 1-6 in duals.

Not only that but looking at Webster's weight class 184, the starter Krone was the only loss today. Owen did not wrestle today. He wanted the lights and glamour of D1 and now he has it, well someone has it.

Stoll from Iowa is a huge dude, but I honestly don't see him giving Gable too many problems.  He's got such an incredible burst and attack rate that it'll take a lot to hang with him.  I think his biggest challenge will be Cassar from Penn State, who bulked up from 197 last season, and they won't meet till the Big Ten tournament in a few weeks.

FWIW, Steveson's about 6' 1" give or take a inch and about 255.

I don't know what's going on with Webster.  I was pretty impressed with him last season, but he's really struggling this year.
