QuoteAren't there any fans of real championship contenders that want to be on my side?
I'll be your friend.
Can you send me one of those friendship rings now?

I'm taking orders.  I'm thinking about putting a big #2 on the top, to signify the two people.  I was thinking purple stones too. nothing like this has ever been made before!

Not sure why my MIAA mentions change into MIAC... either I am typing strangely or there is an autocorrect going on (depending on the computer I am using; may miss when it does that). I do mean MIAA in the case of TMC.

And now for something completely different:

Can anybody explain to me where the hell the athletic field is?  My best guess is that it is out-of-view to the right of the small trees but . . . geezus.

The playing field is directly in front of the grandstand.  If you look at the left hand 1/3 of the photograph you can see the scoreboard and endzone bleachers.
12-0 = 13

Sad news from John Carroll this morning. Longtime Coach and JCU mainstay Tony DeCarlo has passed away. RIP

JCUStreaks70 and other Blue Streak fans

Sorry to hear about Tony DeCarlo. I talked to him on several occasions. Seemed like an OK guy. He certainly left his mark on John Carroll. Prayers to everyone in the JCU community.

The stadium is still pretty much the same to this day.  If you stand in the parking lot on the visitor side, you can probably recreate that picture

Mount gets a decent looking QB out of Hollywood, FL. Quinn Dempsey is his name. He doesn't look very big, but puts the ball in a good spot and looks off of receivers well.

Where is everybody? Fulford goes to court, Poorman goes to Belton, Mount Ida goes away and Merle sticks around. Sure it's the off-season, but there are things we could talk about.
OK, so I'm old and retired and have the time to post here. But, please!
Look forward to hearing from a few souls, even JCU posters or, yes, even Merle!

One solo cricket has attracted another one.

My guess is collective breath holding until Florida decision is public.
All the insiders may be PMing if it's negative.
Let's hope not.

I thought Frank said 4/20 was just the next calendar call.  I didn't anticipate that a decision was coming?  Unless maybe they agreed on a plea deal?  I don't know. I'll leave that stuff to the attorneys.

Does anyone have any news on the Fulford situation? Was expecting to hear something by now.
