Mr. Ypsi

Refer to the opening post on this thread!

(But to briefly answer, polls are through Sunday's games (starting today) and ballots are due by 7pm Tuesday.  Either posting here or emailing me is acceptable.

David Collinge

Not that it's any of my business, being a non-participant, but I'd advise against posting ballots publicly.  I think posted ballots might influence subsequent votes, thereby damaging whatever integrity the poll has.

Ralph Turner

I agree David. Send Mr Ypsi a personal message on D3Hoops or an email.

Mr. Ypsi

David and Ralph,

I understand your point (and GENERALLY agree with you) but we posters are such an opinionated lot, I can't really imagine anyone being swayed by someone else's ballot! ;D  (Except perhaps in a beneficial sense of reminding them of a team they meant to vote for and inadvertantly forgot - like someone who submitted by message, but shall go unnamed! ;))

Nevertheless, either email or the message service on this site IS better, but I won't disallow posted ballots.

Ralph Turner

The private messaging service offered by this site does save humiliation! ;)  :D   :D

John Gleich

Regarding the "posting" issue...  I think if someone decides they want to post their ballot AFTER the posters' poll has been released, that's there own prerogative, but it should be done, officially, by PM or email.

But I didn't 'humiliate' anyone - I might have been tweaking Q or Greg (both famous for their precision to detail) or April (just because I was placed on this earth to 'tweak' her ['swamp tennies' ring a bell]!) or OS for bequeathing me this job or anyone! :D

And now comes the REAL humiliation - I tallied up my OWN ballot before realizing I had not left out a preferred team - I left out the #13!  Good job, stat prof! ;D

But, yes, the (Australian) secret ballot is a wonderful invention!

No, you didn't!  The kinder gentler Mr Ypsi was most gracious in his questioning the glaring omission on my ballot.

The humiliation would have come from this esteemed assemblage of D3-Intelligentsia.  "Whaddya mean you didn't vote for that school?  :o"

Got your ballot, but where's the nickel! ;)

Wouldn't it be a quarter... being 25 teams and all?

Mine is away as well.
