Congratulations to Wisconsin Lutheran! The Warriors, who have not lost since a season-opening defeat to current #8 DePauw, have reached the D3Hoops.com Top 25 for the first time in school history, ranking in at #25 in this week's poll. Per the Top 25 Archive, they are the first NACC school to be ranked since Lakeland, all the way back in 2001.
That was the Lake Michigan Conference then, so I'd say they are the first NACC school to be ranked.

Exactly. Proud of them. That was a glass ceiling that was long overdue to be shattered.

1. ARV Wisconsin Lutheran 17-1 (21-2)
2. Concordia Wisconsin 14-4 (17-6)
3. Concordia Chicago 13-5 (17-6)
4. Lakeland 12-6 (15-8)
4. Benedictine 12-6 (15-8)
6. Aurora 11-7 (13-10)
---
7. Dominican 8-10 (12-11)
7. Edgewood 8-10 (10-13)
9. MSOE 7-11 (9-14)
10. Rockford 3-15 (5-18)
11. Alverno 2-16 (5-18)
12. Marian 1-17 (3-20)

The conference tournament field is set, but only two games between them next week: Benedictine hosts Wisconsin Lutheran on Tuesday, and Concordia Wisconsin travels to Concordia Chicago on Saturday; having won the first meeting already, the Cougars can leapfrog the Falcons for the No. 2 seed and a first round bye if they win out.

The NCAA released the third set of women's basketball regional rankings with few changes from last week's version. This is the final set that we'll see before the Tournament bracket is released on Monday. Full list here: http://d3hoops.com/notables/2018/02/women-regional-rankings-third

NACC First Round
#6 Aurora 64
#3 Benedictine 71

#5 Concordia Chicago 62
#4 Lakeland 77

Aurora tried to rally from a deficit that swelled as large as 23 at one point, but despite a 14-1 run they had dug themselves too deep, while Concordia Chicago could not muster a 4th quarter comeback like they had in both previous meetings against the Muskies. So both higher seeds advance, which means it's CUW vs. Benedictine at 1:00 Saturday, followed by Lakeland at Wisconsin Lutheran at 3:30.

Wisconsin Lutheran loses one game last week - on the road, to a team that just picked up its 18th win tonight - and they drop two spots, including below a team that they beat earlier this year? What are they supposed to do, go undefeated?

NACC Tournament Semifinals

#3 Benedictine (18-9) 52
#2 Concordia Wisconsin (20-6) 61

#4 Lakeland (18-9) 47
#1 Wisconsin Lutheran (23-3) 68

Sweet revenge for the Warriors after Lakeland handed them a loss just after getting ranked for the first time.

NACC Final

#2 Concordia Wisconsin (20-7) 59
#1 Wisconsin Lutheran (24-3) 66

Warriors avoid a possible long wait to see if they get an at-large bid or not, and grab the Pool A bid.

WLC will find out who they play this afternoon.
