Any updates on hires or new open positions?
No hirings on any of these?
Hard to believe no one has anything to say any more.
Just not a whole lot to report on! Some coaching vacancies still out there, but not a ton of D3 turnover this year.

D3 Coaching Carousel is a great source...after decisions have been made...I am as equally interested in which jobs have come open and still pending. Thanks for the link though!
More job openings:

Open as well:
Cal Tech
I was surprised that Taylor Houck left CalTech for Knox College. She only was at CalTech for 2 seasons and started the program there. Starting a program is a huge undertaking and can be very frustrating but it would be a very good resume builder. Perhaps Houck felt that she took the program as far as she could and her work was done. I don't understand trading in the Los Angeles area for Know College - a school situated in a fairly rural area of Illinois. LA isn't for everyone, though. It's very expensive to live there and the congestion and style of living can be overwhelming for someone that doesn't want that. Additionally, with CalTech being one of the most difficult schools in the world to gain acceptance to, recruiting can be difficult. It takes a special student/athlete to excel in that environment. Other high-profile academic schools get good student-athletes so it can be done. Look at Wash U. U of Chicago, the other UAA schools, the 5 Cs near CalTech (even though they combine schools for teams), MIT, and others. I would think that for the right person that Cal Tech would be a desirable job. IN the inaugural year their GAA was nearly 5 and last season they were a bit over 3 so I think that Houck had them on the right track. It is going to require a lot of patience to get them up to par with some of the other good California D3 programs - the 5 Cs, Cal Lutheran, etc
Any jobs still open?
Bates, Clarkson, and Utica have all been listed with no announcements of a hiring. The latter two still show the same coaching staff online.
And now add U of Mary Washington to the mix
Also add Case Western
Case Western should be a coveted position and I doubt that they'll have a problem filling it. The UAA, in which Case competes, is arguably the best D3 conference in the country for women's soccer. CWRU attracts high level student-athletes and the academic reputation of the school is a big help for recruiting.
Interesting hire at Greensboro. Don't see the experience on the resume to support taking over a program at that level. Pay must be very low!
Not interesting. Typical D3 Soccer hire. Actually would argue a good hire as a leader.
The program there is not at a high level. 16-1 looks great on surface, but it's a glorified program at best. Former coach played some of the worst schools in their area; were in bottom 40 in all of D3 women's soccer for their sos. 2017, they were in bottom 10 for sos, below some pretty notably bad D3s. That's really bad from an analytics perspective.
So there wins are just stacked from playing bad teams. Curious what new coach will do.
Big opening in Washington and huge hire at Bates. Thoughts?
Seems like a couple more opening: Juniata College & Pfeiffer University
Miss any?
Schreiner. Defiance. St. John Fisher all open.

Clarkson & Utica both closed. Juniata isn't going to be open too long if they already haven't started phone calls.
Pfeiffer already finished interviews and have finalist next week.
Most curious is with Puget Sound-an Interim position just for the fall and no announcement from CWU or UMW yet.

PU job has been open for 7 days (including a weekend which HR offices don't open), and they are done with interviews!! I don't think so

Just what I heard in a few circles. Schreiner wasn't open long either and they just made an official hire today so it evidently may be the case.
Franciscan open.
Huge job opening after the 2019 season at Ohio Wesleyan.
CWRU hiring announced today.
Birmingham-Southern open.
Interesting that position came open this late. A prior coach used this as a steppingstone to Indiana U assistant job and now head coach at Kennesaw State University. Position has potential as Birmingham Southern has decent facilities and Birmingham is a city on the upswing with all the medical facilities at UAB and changes in type of employment in the city.

Would agree with this. Competitive conference, in addition to above mentioned makes this an intriguing opening.
(CCIW83), Birmingham-Southern I would put in the conversation as a top 5 coaching changes for this year with CWRU, Bates, Puget Sound, and Trinity. (Caltech most certainly can be switched with the Loggers post since they have an interim)
