That's pretty unfortunate for the kids from Saratoga.
I hope there is a really good reason that decision was made.
I know Ithaca has been making some pretty deep staffing cuts the past few years to try & save money here & there but its come to the point where putting up a new net is problematic?
Regardless of who wins a league championship or where, cutting the nets is a moment of joy those kids should have had.

For as good as Ithaca has been the last couple years they've had 2 straight what I consider to be disappointing finishes to their seasons.   I think this year's and last year's teams were better than the one that got to the 2nd weekend in 2019.  Pretty tough to lose at the last second on your home court 2 consecutive seasons.
